The Westin is just a few steps away from the Mammoth Lakes village which is a pedestrianised area of bars and cafés plus a few shops. The hotel has convenient complimentary parking underground which was great. The room we had (basic room ) was very plush and of a high standard. We were amazed at the fully fitted kitchen with...

A stay at this hotel made for one our BEST vacations ever and a major reason we have fallen in love with the Eastern Sierra. We came for a week to check out as many hiking trailheads and day hikes as we could in preparation for a later backpack trip. So each day we came home pooped, we headed for...

Thank you choosing the Westin Monache while you were in Mammoth Lakes. It would seem you are hooked for life. The area is beautiful; packed with so many outdoor activities. All of our rooms have a kitchenette, but as you correctly pointed out, our two bedrooms have a full kitchen. Thanks for coming back so soon! Enjoy your next stay...

Westin Monache property is located at Mammoth Village which makes it a 5-minute walk to numerous restaurants, ski rentals and gondola, shops and local shuttle service. My visit was in September when most young people were back in school. This was ideal for me. But, for those who want to partake in winter activities, this property is perfectly situated. I...

Our family stayed here in August for three nights. The hotel didn't seem particularly full and the rates for our two bedroom/bath suite were fantastic! The room service is fast & delicious although the menu is somewhat limited. (seasonal?) We literally had the entire pool area to ourselves all three days which was fantastic! Centrally located to many outdoor activities...

Thank you choosing the Westin Monache while you were in Mammoth Lakes. August is actually our busiest month of the year. However, as you experienced, the final week 10 days before Labor is not as busy. I will check on the internet issue. We just updated to a 200 mbps system so the speed should be good. I am happy...

Went for a short 3 day stay over the summer to go for some nice day hikes and generally relax. Could not have been happier with our choice. I'm a loyal SPG Gold member and we definitely felt very welcome. We received a complementary room upgrade upon check-in to a beautiful suite with a fantastic view of the mountain. The...
