I booked a stay at the Westin for my family, and it was so enjoyable!! The room was very clean, and Eddie was quick to respond with items. The jacuzzi was perfect after a long day and the room was spacious and conveniently located. We received great service across the board: Giovanni greeted us as soon as we pulled up after the long drive and Chiara helped us throughout our stay with requests. The coffee in the lobby was much appreciated and Sean was attentive when it ran low on us one morning. Awesome staff and resort, we will definitely be coming back!!
On June 8, we visited the Westin Monache Resort. The whole experience was wonderful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Parking was exceptionally easy with close access to the elevator. Our room was top notch with excellent view of the nearby mountains. The amenities in the room were numerous, and the many lighting options were an unexpected plus. This is a place to which we would gladly return. Louis at the front desk was particularly helpful and friendly.
We arrived at the Westin late, tired and hungry. Riley, Jason and Louis met us at the front door like we were the most important guests ever to arrive. Louis checked us in and couldn't have been more helpful. He said the restaurant would be open for 20 more minutes.Riley and Jason unloaded our car, valeted it and took all our suitcase up stairs. We proceeded to meet JR the bartender and Jen the manager of the restaurant. The food was delivered quickly and we were told not to worry about the time. Felt like a member of their family. I highly recommend this hotel if you want great service.
I have stayed at the Westin before and it was an amazing hotel with great amenities. When it came to reserving rooms for my upcoming wedding, I knew my guests would be happy here. Michelle was very accommodating and helped add rooms to the block when needed. Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this resort. The room was great, everyone was friendly. It’s doggie friendly, perfect for our pup. We loved the pool area and location. We came for our wedding anniversary and it was better than expected. Jason was the best! He drove us to dinner and picked us up and gave great hiking recommendations, plus he was just really kind and cool. Highly recommend.
The hotel is very modern & comfortable in the inside. The rooms came with kitchen and sofa bed which was large enough for two people. There are several restaurants & cafes around just a couple of minutes walk at the Village & nearby. The only complaint I would have are the restaurant’s breakfast options are ok, but tasteless & the pancakes & toast were stale and chewy as if they were microwaved. The window at the room I stayed in was problematic. It didn’t shut all the way. Wind was blowing in loudly all night making the room freezing cool & the heater wasn’t good enough to warm the room. All in all the stay was good. If Westin’s management addresses the window issue it could be a lot more better than it currently is.
We stayed at the Westin in January 2022. Though there were still covid restrictions the service we received at the Ski Locker was amazing. Mica, Raul, and Brennen were so helpful with our gear and suggestions for places to enjoy around the village.
The Westin is in my opinion the best spot to stay in Mammoth. Excellent staff and accommodations. The heated pool and two big jacuzzi's for after skiing are great. The food at Whitebark is excellent and the proximity to the village and all that that has to offer. During ski season you have access to a ski valet and locker located under the gondola to Canyon Lodge. So you can leave your ski's and boots and don't have to lug back to your room. Underground parking is also available so you don't have to worry about digging your car out after a snow storm. They also have a shuttle that can take you around town. Plus it's part of Bonvoy so you earn point while staying.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Westin in Mammoth! Our 2 bedroom suite was very clean, updated, and had gorgeous views of the mountain. The kitchen was well-stocked and the service desk was quick to help us whenever we needed extra items. The concierge was great helping us plan activities and figure out how to get the most out of our few days visiting. It was our first time in Mammoth, and their advice was instrumental in making sure we made efficient use of our time. You also can’t beat the location! The hotel is steps away from the gondola, so we were on and off the mountain within a few minutes each day. Most of all, I want to thank Duncan for his excellent customer service working out an issue with our checkout. We had two 2 bedroom suites booked, and he worked with me to make sure our family was comfortable and he generally just went above and beyond. I can’t wait to return to the Westin for our next family vacation- we are already planning our dates for this summer!…
Just wanted to let everyone know that there are great people here at the Westin. We arrived in Mammoth to a condo that was disgusting. After trying to clean it and go to bed, we could not handle it. We called the Village and they did not have any availability and the person there called his friend Omar at the Westin to see if they had anything. After talking with Omar, he gave us the number and we called Omar directly as it was after midnight. Omar looked over everything and found us a room, made the reservation, took care of the payment and assured us the room would be ready first thing in the morning . We left our condo and got to the Westin at 8:30 and our room was ready. We appreciate Omar's patience and willingness to work with us in the middle of the night to get us a room. Our trip was saved and we had a wonderful experience at the Westin. If it snows some more we will be back again soon, or definitely next year. Thanks Omar, and thanks Westin for the trip we wanted.…
