We stayed in the Shasta cabin and it had everything we needed for a few nights stay. I will say, it could have had a queen bed and no twin to allow a bit more room but the bathroom and kitchen were perfect. We experienced a true first day of fall with a rain / wind storm. Then the next...

We visited Convict Lake on our way to Mammoth Lakes. Breathtaking scenery; was nice and quiet with just a few fishermen about. Can see why movie makers chose this for scenes for Star Trek: Insurrection.

While we did not stay there, we did visit Convict Lake and enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the restaurant. I was not expecting the menu selections, the wine list or the spirit selections! Fabulous evening and meal with a great location and excellent service! Don't miss this hidden gem!

My husband and I enjoyed 3 marvelous nights at the Convict Lake Resort in a luxurious studio cabin. The vaulted wood-beamed ceiling, downy king bed, spa-like bathroom, pristine modern kitchen and rustic designer touches throughout set this cabin apart. It was the most well appointed and comfortable cabin we have ever stayed in. What a pleasure to kick off our...

We stayed for a quick overnight stay based on the location. The location was beautiful - the surrounding mountains, the nearby lake, the wildlife, and the clear skies (saw the Milky Way) absolutely MAKE this a worthwhile spot. However.....the housekeeping is horrible. We paid just under $200 for one nite and the cabin was dirty and smelled of mildew. I...

Stayed in the #4 Lockleven cabin for three nights over Memorial Day weekend while attending a wedding. The location could not be more beautiful! We were stunned when we saw the mountains around the lake and the rather serene surroundings. The cabin was recently updated with a nice bathroom and eat in kitchen. The cabin was outfitted with all of...

Modern cabin with all necessities (including well equipped kitchen). Only the bed was disappointing, saggy and not comfortable at all. The location itself is super, with Convict Lake at walking distance. There are plenty of dining possibilities at the nearby Mammoth Lakes and I really recommend a visit to Hot Creek when in the neighbourhood. PS: If you don’t like...

My husband has been coming to this resort for 30 years. Now I look forward coming here twice a year. Some of our friends stay at the adjacent campground. Owner Brian and employees are always so accommodating. There are so many different cabins from cozy to big groups. You have to experience the restaurant its a 10. Just booked for...

My dog and I recently stayed at the Resort in one of the updated smaller cabins, which included a full kitchen and a front deck with a barbeque. I had a great stay, including going on some nice hikes with my dog as well as having dinner in the bar area at the restaurant (Excellent/highly recommended). The price for the...
