We spent New Year's week here with a large group of families. The location was great! Walking distance to the Canyon Gondola, super easy for daily skiing and walking to the Village for dining/activities. Mgmt was super nice! Always happy to help. We were able to trade clean towels and sheets mid-week. They offered extra hand soap, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels. Each unit can vary greatly. The units were build in the late 60's and our unit #228 has been updated. Appliances were all working, new flat screen TVs, we were very happy with the amenities (they provided coffee filters for the coffee maker). We did have some friends in units that looked like original 1960s appliances that were not working well. Friends that did not have TV service, mgmt said it was a cable issue and could not fix it. We had no problem with our TV service. Friends that had plumbing issues, we had no issues although the plumbing was questionable at times. We would definitely stay in our unit again, but feel like it is the luck of the draw as far as everything being in working condition so we really lucked out with a great unit. If you are looking for something modern and updated, you will want to stay elsewhere unless you happen to find a unit that has had some serious upgrades. All units are split levels with beds/baths downstairs and kitchen/living area upstairs, if you have an issue with stairs, then probably not the right set up for you. I think the price was a little high, but it was NYE.

This is a great place. Super clean and within a few minute walk to the village and skiing. Garage parking ideal. The check in and check out process very user friendly. We highly recommend this property and will stay here again.

The perfect house for 2 families - great proximity to Village, Gondola and Restaurants. Great to have a garage for parking and some outdoor space for the kids to play. Bunk room was perfect for the kids...would be better to have a king in the second bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Very close to village gondola so we walked each day. Beds were pretty comfortable, and a bonus that they are located downstairs with living area upstairs so that the bedrooms don't get super hot from the heater. Instead, each bed has an electric blanket that we all used - nice touch. The reason I am rating this condo as "average" is that it is dated and needs upgrading.

We stayed here for about 3 days and the unit we stayed in was very outdated. The sofa was old and scratchy, the lighting was horrible. The worst part was the dining room table because, It was like it had never been cleaned. I used a few wipes to clean it and they were black from the dirt. Also there was hair in the bathroom sink, the temperature screen on the oven didn't work, so you kind of had to guess and watch your food cooking in the oven. The main bedroom bed was comfortable, but you needed a step ladder to get into it. You almost have to get a running start to get into the bed, because it’s just so high

The location is great, it's walking distance to the Gondola to take you up to the ski resort and if you wanted to drive there, it's on the same street, only about a 5 min drive. If you're going to be out a lot and you just need a place to sleep, then sure use this room, but if you're trying to relax in the room, then room 227 isn’t the room. The other cabins are nicer, because we had other families we came with and their place was amazing. I had thought all of them were old, dark and dreary like ours, but not the case.

Stayed in condo # 219. Decor and colors are from about 1975. The refrigerator and dish washer have been updated but not much else. Furniture, curtains, shower, shower curtain, bath rooms are quite dated to about 1975. Food stains on dining room chairs, dining table. Curtains falling down. . No central heating. Wall heating only. Very little storage space available. Chest of drawers was filled with extra blankets and pillows. Closet filled with rolling bed. Just OK

Cabin was in great condition. Very clean. Great location (short walking distance to Village and main Gondola). Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of kitchen appliances. If we ever go back to Mammoth, no doubt we would try to get the same cabin at Mammoth Estates Rentals.

We stayed at Mammoth Estates to ride the High Sierra Century and bike. It was the perfect location for all activities and the village. The condo was well furnished and comfortable we really loved the updated spa area and sauna. It was a great way to unwind and relax after biking. The staff was friendly and helpful, we can't wait to return during the ski season.

Great place! We loved being able to walk to the Village from our Condo at Mammoth Estates. We came up for the Mammoth Motocross for the first time and met up with our friends. Our flight arrived way before check in time, however the staff at Mammoth Estates was extremely accommodating and friendly. No problem putting us into our condo early and they gave some great tips.
Seems to be a family run business and I can tell they are long time locals. I felt like I just made several new friends.
Reasonable rates, big (older) condominiums. Would recommend Mammoth Estates Rentals to all my friends. I think I will try a winter trip this year too.

Great location, friendly office staff and large condo's. Will stay at Mammoth Estates again for our next trip. Walked right down to the Village for Dinner and when Canyon Lodge open's, we can walk to the Gondola. Condo was really nice, spacious and quiet. Loved the spa and played a game of pool in the recreation room. Reasonable prices too.
