Have the Mountains at your Front Door. Juniper Springs Lodge, Sunstone and Eagle Run make up Mammoth's premier ski-in/ski-out resort. Located at Eagle Lodge and Eagle Express chairlift, these studio to three bedroom condos and townhomes offer an alpine getaway that is ideal for families. You'll also have access to two heated swimming pools, six outdoor heated hot tub spas and many more resort amenities. Our mountain resort is located above 8,000 feet and we historically experience mild summer temperatures. Because of our cool summers, our hotel and rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.

This resort is excellent, but during our most recent stay, what really made the difference was the staff! There was a power outage due to a broken transformer up the road (not the fault of the resort), and for more than 24 hours, the staff at Juniper Springs went above and beyond in their, care, patience, and kindness. Harry M. was especially helpful as he insisted on helping us unload our car in the dark, shining flashlights so we could see, and using the stairs for all of it because the elevator was out. Sergio repeatedly let us into our room the following day and showed us the same care and kindness Harry had shown us the day before, walking over to the Sunstone building to unlock our room door manually. And Lannie was so kind and did everything she could to accommodate us during the Great Power Outage of 2024, again displaying exceptional kindness and care. On top of all of this, we love the lodgings - always perfectly clean, cozy, and ski in/ski out!

Hotel's Favorite
Harry Mendoza, the Front Desk Representative/Manager was outstanding in every way, and made our trip special from the moment we entered the spacious lobby. He graciously went above and beyond, showing us some different room options, with varying designs and views of the nearby snow-covered mountains and even the Eagle Chair-lift. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, and it was beautifully appointed with local art. It even had three wonderful books details the history of the surrounding Mammoth Ski area, founded by the charming Dave McCoy way back in the 1930's. "For The Love of it", the mammoth legacy of Roma and Dave McCoy was so fascinating I bought it in a local book store on my way out of town. The swimming pool was a perfectly comforting 85 degrees, which is perfect for the cold Spring weather. The jacuzzis were great too. The coffee/gift shop was stacked with goodies and excellent coffee concoctions. All in all, a perfect stay, thanks in large part to Harry Mendoza, and his accommodating manner.

I've been enjoying Mammoth Lakes since the 70s, especially during the winter months. There is no more beautiful place on earth IMHO! I usually stay in the village or up at Mammoth Mountain Inn, but on this trip I decided to treat myself and stay at Juniper. Several friends raved about Juniper, and now that I have stayed there I concur! The location is about as perfect as you can get. I was able to ski in/ski out straight over to the Eagle chair, and from there I had access to the entire mountain. The condo was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cooking gear, and of course a coffee maker. The nights were very quiet, which is a blessing after a full day of skiing Mammoth. The facilities were excellent too. The spa and pool were clean and in perfect working order, and the ski lockers were a real convenience. The best part was the check-in process! Harry Mendoza was so helpful to explain the resort's layout and also gave me some tips to get the most out of my week at Mammoth. I really like that the resort offers a transportation service into the village. I didn't use it since I had everything I needed and opted to cook and stay in, but I loved that I had the option. Juniper is well worth the dollars when you are in Mammoth!

We stayed in a one bedroom one bath condo with a nice view. We were greeted by Harry Mendoza at the front desk. We arrived a little before our check in time but was nice enough to get us in’s nice room. Great service, location, and very friendly staff. Lockers located on lobby level were super convenient with a short walk to the lifts.

Juniper Springs went above and beyond! From last minute reservation change to get a continuous room, to Harry Mendoza's hospitality and personalized service as front desk manager, it was a great start. They were able to check us in early on a weekday (ideal 1-bedroom condo with an amazing mountain view) and we were on the slopes after a quick lunch in our condo. The Sun Stone was incredibly convenient with true ski-in/ski-out and the ability to pop in for lunch in the chalet and jump right back onto Eagle Lift to make the most of the day. I already left a survey at the resort and hardly ever do surveys or reviews. This one was special and we are looking forward to going back!

It had been some years since I had last visited Juniper Springs Lodge. My wife Teri and I returned this March to find everything just as remembered. Great rooms, excellent staff and a truly enjoyable place to stay. Unfortunately my wife was injured skiing and it did put a damper on things. The staff, who were aware of the difficulties we were encountering went out of their way to make it comfortable and easy to come and go. They extended our time there seamlessly. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without their help. I also don’t know why or how I would stay anywhere else. The ski lifts are right there and you really are located for the utmost convenience. I must also extend my thanks to Hayden for specially selecting our 1-bedroom deluxe unit with its stunning mountain view, as well as to Naomy, Becky, and Harry Mendoza for assisting us throughout our stay. Cant wait to come back. Cheers, Chris & Teri

As usual, Juniper Springs was great. the person at the desk, Harry Mendoza, was especially helpful and through in giving us the information for our stay and getting us a great room. The kitchen equipment in the condo we had was complete. We have been staying a Juniper Spring 2 or 3 times/year for over 20 years, which says a lot about it.

I treated my sister to a long ski weekend away and we had a wonderful time staying at Juniper Springs. Our 1-bedroom condo was phenomenal, the apres-ski in the hot tub divine, and you can't ask for better lift access just steps from the front door. Most importantly, Hayden and the rest of the front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and accomodating, especially as a storm closed in and guests were unable to arrive or leave as scheduled. I will certainly be planning to stay here again!
