Having come straight from mammoth lodge (which is juniper sister hotel) this was a bit disappointing. Location, rooms and amenities not as good as mammoth village lodge (which is brilliant). Friendly clean and adequate but not worth the hefty price tag

We had a great reunion in #19! It is a nice unit with a hot tub. Great for a family of 9 and you could sleep even more! One room had 6 bunk beds! The views were amazing....right off the decks! The dining room seats 6, but we just ate "wherever". Living room could be bigger, but the fireplace looked... More

We stayed two nights at the Juniper Springs Resort in Mammoth Lakes in July 2016 and were really disappointed with both our room, service and facilities. The hotel was easy to find, there was no valet parking but a convenient underground car park (which filled up very quickly on an afternoon - be aware!). We had booked a family room... More

I wish I'd read some of the summer stay reviews in tripadvisor before coming here as many of them have the same complaint - it was only when we arrived we realised there is no air conditioning. 80's/90's outside and the rooms are stifling! It's really no good in this day and age not to forwarn guests when they book... More

I stayed with my family for a single night here. The room layout was very good, one king size bedroom, a living room with a excellent kitchen and a sofabed for the kids. The issues we had was withe to the room temperature. The is not AC, and this is ok, but the heating system was working and the room... More

Great area with spectacular views and ideal for outdoor activities. We only stayed one night during a roadtrip, but it was a welcome break. Great rooms with kitchen and seperate bedroom with kingsize bed. The couch can be transfromed into a bed. Pitty that there is no restaurant in the hotel and no breakfast is included.

We have enjoyed our 1 night stay very much! The room consisited of a seperate bedroom with a kingsize bed, a small bathroom with only 1 (!) sink and a living speace with kitchen (large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and large stove). We also had a small terrace. Staff at the reception was very friendly. Hotel has a 85F... More

Huge room with excellent self catering facilities. An oven you could fit a whole sheep in, and a fridge you could keep it in once cooked. Spotlessly clean. A perfect location for a two week self catering stay. Or if you are just passing through, there are plenty of places to eat in the nearby town. Amazing mountain location, great... More

We are on a round trip - SF, Yosemite, Mammoth, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon. Juniper was the best stop to date. Friendly, helpful staff, bus service to town, great advice on what to do in the time available. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to leave so soon! Definitely where I will stay when we return.

Had three nights at the Juniper Springs and rented a three bedroom town house. Check in was excellent, very helpful and comprehensive and the guy (apologies didn't catch the name) could not have handled our questions any better, a great start. The town house is lovely, very spacious and well appointed and a welcome break from the hotels our family... More
