Stayed here for the first time over Thanksgiving and could not have been happier with the experience. The location is perfect (true ski-in, ski-out), the room and facilities have everything you could ask for (more on that below), but most importantly, the service was top notch. I had mistakenly mixed up my check-in date and thought my trip was doomed. But the manager, Nicole Hallum, went out of her way to help. This is one of the big advantages of booking with Juniper Springs as opposed to an AirBnB or VRBO that I think people often overlook: the service. Nicole's professionalism and courtesy ended up being the difference between a failed vacation and one that my family will remember for years. The room itself was very clean and had everything we were looking for: fire place, full kitchen, fridge, comfortable bed and couch, and beautiful views of the mountain. The covered parking and electric vehicle chargers were also a huge plus. The location is fantastic. It's just a 5 minute drive to the village, close to beautiful hiking trails, and at the base of Eagle Lodge. I'll only be booking with Mammoth Mountain Resorts from now on -- no more disappointing AirBnBs and VRBOs for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!…
My family of four stayed at the Juniper Springs Resort for the entire Thanksgiving week, November 22-28th. We stayed in room 219 facing the front end of the property. What makes the resort a special place is the personal attention you get ahead of you arriving and once you are there. One of the lead staff at the resort, Sergio, has been taking care of our reservations for years. He's always looking out for the best room to reserve and is always updating us on the current COVID status of the town and the resort itself. His number one priority is to provide a safe and enjoyable stay. Upon arriving, Ryan was the first person that took care of us. He was attentive, detailed, and friendly. Much like Sergio has always done, Ryan made us feel at home. We kept running into each other during the week and it was always a pleasant experience. Jim at the front desk has also been a great part of the Juniper Springs Resort family. This was our third time at Juniper and their COVID protocols are consistent. Remember that there's no in-room service, so you'll have to keep you room tidy on your own. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full-blown Thanksgiving Turkey dinner with all the fixings! OK, typically, I spend a lot of time describing the rooms. But the reality is that just about every two-bedroom room has always been awesome. Room 219 was recently remodeled with new floors and new paint. The room also features a HUGE balcony looking over from the second floor. Great for all your gear or to just sit outside and take in the winter scenery. It had plenty of room for my wife and I and our two daughters ages 10 and 13. So the rooms are always great. With plenty of snow on the ground, I want to talk about how much fun the surrounding space is around the property. There are about 2-3 great places to sled. It was great to be making our Thanksgiving dinner while our kids where in the front of the building sledding down some of the hills. The walks were also great, with beautiful paved walking trails leading out from the hotel. One just has to look out for black ice on the bike paths/sidewalks. The supermarkets were close by, with Schat's Bakery just down the street. If you are up for the Christmas season, make sure to order their Pumpkin Pie. It is the best we've ever had. Their dutch apple is also really delicious. While in town, the best breakfast place is the Warming Hut. Hands down! We will be returning to the resort just before Christmas for our daughter's 14th birthday. We want to experience the ski in / ski out convenience out of Eagle Lodget. We're hoping the snowfall is great down at the Resort to take advantage of all the skiing convenience without having to trek up to the very top of the mountain every time we want to ski. All in all, Juniper Springs Resort is a great family hotel situated in a picturesque corner of Mammoth Lakes. We are looking forward to our wintery return!…
This was our first visit to Mammoth and definitely not our last. When we come back, we will not hesitate to stay at Juniper Springs. As avid snowboarders, Juniper Springs was the perfect hotel for us - just a short drive away (5-10 minutes) from the main lodge and with ski/snowboard lockers too. The room itself (a 1 bedroom) was super cosy and very well-equipped. With the pandemic still going on, we really wanted somewhere with a kitchen so that we cook have breakfast and dinner at home to limit our exposure outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to do so. The hotel itself is lovely and all of the staff were extremely helpful and kind, especially Jim. We look forward to using the pool facilities next time. Note that there is a ski lift right next to Juniper Springs that opens around December 18th. We cant wait to come back after this date so that we can have a real ski-in experience!…
When we arrived, the front desk service was very hospitable, Denzel went out of his way to accommodate our needs when we first got there. The room was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. Olmo also very helpful when we needed recommendations and small services. The surroundings are beautiful, lots of things to see and do! If your looking for a place to stay with a full kitchen, I would recommend Juniper springs a great place.
Juniper Springs is in an absolutely beautiful location. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the kitchens are stocked better than most Airbnbs! Most important, the staff is wonderful. I checked in with Nicole and she was so kind and helpful. I'll definitely be staying here again!
