We decided to leave a day early for Mammoth because of an impending storm and this was the only place with a room left so we booked it. Rustic is one description of the place as it seems very old. Our room looked like a...More
We stayed here for one night on our way to Yosemite. Is fairly basic, a b and b sort of place. Decent value and the breakfast was okay. Rooms are a little dated, but nice in an old fashioned sort of way. My wife really...More
My husband and I decided to take a very last minute trip up to Mammoth for Christmas, and were lucky to find this place had a room.
The location right in town was fantastic.
Service was wonderful.
Loved the 5 o'clock happy hour.

Ditto, the hot tub was working in July but I did not use it and it was at a different building than my room. I had the same thought that it would be a great treat after hiking for 10 hours but my personal schedule didn't permit and the bath in my suite was so comfy I didn't feel I missed out. Regarding the post about breakfast, I thought a made-to-order, homemade breakfast of waffles/pancakes and eggs was actually pretty sweet. Cereal is an option but they usually had a warm breakfast offering if you show up on time. Hot tea and coffee all day in the lounge by the fireplace. Great Inn.
