We stayed two nights here on our way from Las Vegas to Yosemite Park. Mammoth Lake is amazing. We arrived quite late after a long drive, we found the key in a envelope outside the office, so check in was fast. :) We stayed in room 9b, one of the smallest room they have, it was a bit run down... Greeted with a happy hour glass of wine at check in. The staff was very engaging with visitors. My room was small but uniquely designed and very cozy. They do have a wonderful breakfast in the morning. That day they made omelets with fresh fruit, coffee, juice and toast which was delicious. Only problem is mine because I am an... More

We stayed here as part of a three week california tour. This was the only hotel which i didn't sleep well in. The room was on the ground floor and therefore you could here the people upstairs every move. The bed was also lumpy as it had some sort of topper on it. The breakfast however was amazing and cooked... More

I had made a reservation, but did not realize we would be late....not a problem....I called and they left a key and instructions for us (even thought the office was closed)! This was a great stop....the room was clean and spacious....a very comfortable bed. In the morning we were "treated" to delicious fresh fruit pancakes (several choices), plus other continental... Centrally located in mammoth this b+b was fine for our short visit. Seemed a little frantic at breakfast or understaffed perhaps? Our food was fine but a saw a few folk getting impatient with waiting/wrong orders. Room was clean but older fashioned with no a/c, however there was a large fan supplied. Shower was impossible to find a safe temp.... More

We stayed here for one night on our way between Yosemite and Vegas. The room 104 was so beautiful and cosy. However, the wi-fi was a joke in that room due to very poor connection. A plus is the complimentary cheese and wine between 5pm - 8pm. The lady in the morning was cheerful, but in contrary, the girl at... More

During our road trip we stopped off here for the night. We had had a long journey so we were late. This wasn't a problem as after ringing the Inn , the manager left the key in an envelope tucked away for us. Mammoth lakes has to be one of the most stunning places we have visited. Beautiful scenery, so... More

My partner and I spent 3 nights here on our way from Vegas to San Fran. The room was on the smaller side and not flashy and new, but everything we needed was provided. What made our experience here unforgettable was the hospitality of the staff. We were greeted with a genuine welcome, it was like being at home with... More

We read a lot of reviews before booking in Mammoth and we were not disappointed by its location and the helpfulness of the staff. From the minute we arrived, through the happy hour (free wine and cheese) and breakfast, the staff were always on hand offering advice on trips and what to do and where to go. The rooms were... Travelled up from Vegas so was quite weary when we arrived, not a very friendly welcome and took ages to find our booking, room was quaint in an old fashioned way but was showing signs of needing updating. The shower in our room can only be described as dangerous as it was not thermostatically controlled and was very slow to... More
