Stayed here a few nights ago - on a long road trip so can only compare with similar type hotels. Easy check in - room large and plenty of space, huge bathroom and vanity area but it was quite dated as was rest of hotel, also room was very dark. There were also no coffee making facilities in room. Breakfast... More

I have lived in Mammoth Lakes for many years ago and was managing another location. When we went back to Mammoth we did not stay at my old place but stayed at Sierra Lodge and loved it. The rooms were nice, big and clean and had a little kitchen area. There was a balcony out to the little grassy back... More

Very large room, more like a studio apartment, with private balcony. King bed with 2 side tables & lamps, small sofa with good light, table and chairs, kitchenette, large dressing area with lots of hanging space and long counters, good sized bath. No AC but big fan & slider. Convenient parking. Good location back a bit from highway; nice for... More

The hotel is clean and tidy. It is relatively basic but does the job and it was reasonably priced given the expense of accommodation generally here. We booked a two bedroom room but note this means one bedroom which can be closed and the other in open plan with a separate lounge. We are travelling as two couples and so... More

Then rooms are large, and nice to have a kitchenette and lots of room for gear. Decor hasn't been updated, carpets and paint show wear. Nice location within walking distance of The Village and good eateries.

Title says it all. Balcony is scary, perhaps rotten through. Screen to sliding glass doors off to side on porch. No air conditioning and no elevator. So third floor rooms are very warm. Pretty clean and nice sized refrigerator though. Great view of the travel lodge next door.

I am sorry that your stay failed to meet your expectations. It is always disappointing when we receive reviews like yours but we take comfort in knowing that the majority of other reviewers have a very good experience at the property. The balconies on the property are not as you claim and your statement is just untrue. I apologize the... More

When traveling, we typically consider several factors in choosing a hotel, then rating it afterwards. Reviews by others are very important, and we do our homework. Also considered are location, price, breakfast, communication. Comfort, lighting, bathroom space, water pressure...all things that make a stay comfortable or not. We try and get hotels that have character or a feel for where... More

We stayed here just one night on the way from Monterey to LV. The hotel was absolutely fine. Easy and fast check-in, large room and good bed. Arrived late at night and used it as a simple accommodation before we went on the next morning. The breakfast was small and simple. Nice view of the mountains. Recommended for a night.
