We chose this inn because it is a pet friendly hotel. We did not have reservations and the front desk staff was very welcoming as we walked up with our two small, well behaved dogs in tow. We stayed in the main lodge, upstairs with a view of the ski slope. We noticed that the first floor rooms were in... More

This is a busy resort in August with lots for kids to do just outside the door: climbing wall, playground etc. The reception desk is in a plush and impressive building with a pricey restaurant on the upper floor. We were in a side building with a ground floor car park and rooms above. There were not enough parking spaces... More

Beautiful location, clean comfortable room and great service from the staff! We wanted to try someplace new in Mammoth, which is our halfway point between LA and Graeagle. Paid a little bit more than we usually do, but it was worth it for the comfort and service.

At first glance of the beautiful lobby, main restaurant, and friendly staff, I immediately was glad to be staying here and couldn't wait to check in. We were given a room in the West Building, one of several buildings on the property and were completely disappointed! First you will notice the narrow halls, unusual smells, and black stained carpet in... More

Paul August 8, 2016 “Property needs to be refurbished.” After I complained about our room condition cleanliness and lack of updating they reduced the fee by 1 Night. The room was old had not been updated since the seventies carpet was dirty and ripped Furniture was ripped and old ceilings showed leakage and the bathroom tile was all cracked and hadn't... More

Mammoth Mountain Inn is unique for 2 reasons. First, it is 9000 ft in elevation. We planned to hike some lakes above 10,000 ft. That is why we chose to stay in Mammoth Mountain Inn one night to help us to get used to the high elevation. Secondly, in front of its main lodge, there is the terminal station for... More

Stayed here because it was only thing available. Hotel is very old (60's) and dirty. Toasters caught on fire, rug is torn, stained and paper thin, tv works when it wants, don't recommend it if you have other options. It is close to lifts but that's about only convenience.

Not only is this place a 'Photographer's Dream', but if you like sleeping, and snuggling in a homemade nest (aka) a 'Pillow Cocoon' .. Yep.. This is the place for you. The sheets were so soft, and the pillows were Perfect (I don't say it lightly) for a good night's rest for a big day of adventure ahead! When waking,... More

Stopped for 2 nights before moving to an apartment, perfect location. Was upgraded straight away to a slope view room. However the slopes were being cannoned with snow all night which meant it was quite noisy. Very comfy bedding. Great staff. Onsite ski facilities who store your equipment when you come off the mountain. Will stay again as it is... More

So far this has been the best experience on this road trip. After a tiring journey visiting Yosemite national park, we had not planned about night stay. We were surfing the net and planning to stay at Bishop but stayed Mammoth Mountain Inn since we could get any hotel at Bishop. We were three couples and a kid. We got... More
