We were at Mammoth for a wedding and we were excited to visit for the first time. We were very disappointed in the rooms are in poor shape, no air conditioning, rooms are small, chips in the bathtub, and smelled like mold. Especially since we...More
Stayed here 7/13 for one night.

We made a last minute reservation and had a spacious loft room for two families. The location was excellent as were the staff in reception with some great local knowledge for day trips (convict lake). The restaurant / bar food was good too.

The MMInn is 4 miles from town at the Main Lodge. There are free shuttle buses that will take you into town and back. If you want more city/restaurants stay in town but if you like quiet and lovely nights the Inn is nice. There is a nearby Yodler bar that serves food. In Summer the mountain is a great bike park. You can get a decent lodging price at the Inn or spend more for fancier rooms. Be sure to go see Devils Postpile!
