#6 of 33 hotels in Mammoth Lakes
Situated at the base of the mountain just across from the ski area's Main Lodge, the historic Mammoth Mountain Inn offers stunning views, ski-in, ski-out convenience, and proximate access to Mammoth's best mountainside activities and attractions year-round. Just a short drive into town, Mammoth Mountain Inn is located next to the Adventure Center, Yodler Bar & Restaurant, Mammoth Mountain Bike Park, Panorama Scenic Gondola rides, and the Reds Meadow/Devils Postpile National Park shuttle. Our mountain resort is located above 8,000 feet and we historically experience mild summer temperatures. Because of our cool summers, our hotel and rooms are not equipped with air conditioning. Dogs are welcome in select rooms for an additional fee. Enjoy your stay in Mammoth Lakes!

The staff at this hotel is phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room, although small, was also well appointed and clean. The hotel is right in the heart of the resort and makes it easy to get to all the facilities. The only drawbacks were: 1. the room has no air conditioning. A provided floor-fan helped, but it was hot and the room never cooled, even with the sliding door completely open. Also, food was scarce. The breakfast was expensive with small portions and slow (but friendly) service. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was nice. We would gladly return again, but during cooler weather.

What's better than walking across the street and taking the gondola to the peak every morning? Can't beat the location. Staff is great and the rooms are nice. With Main Lodge across the parking lot you pretty much have anything you need for a great convenient day on the mountain.

Dear Scott S, Thank you for your wonderful review. Located directly across the street from Main Lodge, the Mammoth Mountain Inn is a true ski in ski out lodge here in Mammoth Lakes. Although we are located approximately four miles from the city center, we offer numerous on-site dining options, complimentary shuttle service to The Village, a fitness center, and hot tubs - just to name a few of our plethora of amenities. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to see you again in the near future. Derek Barker

We just spent 4 days in a 1 bedroom condo on the property. We brought our dog with us and had a great experience. There is an additional fee for pets which was clearly communicated on both the website and upon check in. We will most certainly be back.

No Quality here! This place advertised that all rooms have A/C that's why we booked. Well guess what front desk tells us no there is no Air conditioning in hotel. But there is a fan in the room they "Say put fan in front of open window and it will cool down by 7pm." Hah Hah jokes in us I guess! After driving 700 miles thinking yes a cold A/C to relax in for the night, just to find out you are going to be sweating all night. Hell I could of slept at a cheaper place for that and saved $180 bucks. It cooled to maybe 76 at 530 AM This is one of the crappiest stays we have ever had at any hotels and we been in some roach motels that had cold A/C. Call someone else to stay. AZ will not be back here again.

If you spend more than $100 a night for a room here you will be disappointed. Two years ago it cost $180 for a weekend, last holiday weekend it cost $392 and there wasn’t even a cute Mammoth shaped towel to improve the experience. The Good: -Yodeler Haus now has ac units (previous reviews mention it did not) -The location -fridge, flat screen tv with lots of channels -Staff was perfectly polite The Bad: - tiny room with “queen size bed” -shower curtain that looked as old as the carpets -$20 “resort fee” and no breakfast - We were put in a room on the bottom floor right next to the entrance. The entrance door only SLAMS shut so our room shook every few minutes. I read recently that the “middle” had dropped out of the hotel industry and I really felt that during this stay.
