Pablo was fantastic. Went above and beyond to help out with questions we had during our stay! Great! The rooms were a little cozy, not the newest refurb, but the service from the people was great. Obviously during covid it's more heightened with staying at a hotel, but the staff did a great job.

What's better than walking across the street and taking the gondola to the peak every morning? Can't beat the location. Staff is great and the rooms are nice. With Main Lodge across the parking lot you pretty much have anything you need for a great convenient day on the mountain.

Dear Scott S, Thank you for your wonderful review. Located directly across the street from Main Lodge, the Mammoth Mountain Inn is a true ski in ski out lodge here in Mammoth Lakes. Although we are located approximately four miles from the city center, we offer numerous on-site dining options, complimentary shuttle service to The Village, a fitness center, and hot tubs - just to name a few of our plethora of amenities. Thank you again for your review, and we hope to see you again in the near future. Derek Barker

I stayed at this hotel with family. The hotel follows the required social distancing guidelines. We got a decent price on the room booking a few weeks out. Our stay was nice enough, but the hotel could definitely use some updating. The hotel could use a fresh coat of paint inside and out and the common areas could use a carpet refresh. Trash bags were left in the hall for hours by the maid service the day we arrived, it was not a pleasant smell. If you are looking for a hotel close the the ski lifts for skiing or mountain biking, this hotel is about a 200 yard walk to the ski lifts.

I stay here almost every winter to ski and every summer to prepare and acclimate for our backpacking adventures. The staff is always excellent, helpful, and friendly. The property is hard to beat for mountain convenience, outdoor adventures and provides an honest feeling that you are in the mountains, and not just in a mountain city. The rooms are ready to be updated, yet they are spacious, always clean, and well-appointed. Due to smoke in the backcountry, we were unable to depart as planned. The staff worked their magic and extended our stay while keeping us in our two-bedroom condo. For the money, this mountain location is still our go-to pick for Mammoth Mountain

This property is just so bad. I’m embarrassed for them. In no way shape or form should they be renting these out to families. They are extremely old, run down and unfit for occupancy. I stayed here 5 years ago thinking it was a premium location/resort on par with a Sheraton/Marriott. Was shocked then when I saw how rundown it was. Railings chipping of paint, doors rotted out, carpet from the 70’s, counters so low in bathrooms... dogs could drink water from them, beds that are concave like tacos from so many travelers, pillows that are a piece of Home Depot foam with thin fabric over them. Ironically, 5 years later when I visited - I thought to myself, “surely they have updated it by now”. BUT, SHOCKINGLY...not one change. And they want top prices for everything. For example two croissants and two coffees in their crappy coffee shop is $40. The rooms are $250-350 in the winter. This place only sell rooms because the customers are desperate during ski season  . Somehow the property squeaks-out a "3-4" rating "Great". That is perplexing given the amount of negative reviews. I think many of the reviews ask people to rate the Mammoth area in general and that always rates high. So, then the hotel's score and the Mammoth area in general score are averaged together. This creates a a perpetual shield that hides the hotels inadequacy.

Dear richhornerjr, Suffice to say, it is unpleasant to read that you did not find our rooms to meet your expectations. I can assure you that we have made many updates in the last five years; new furniture, new drapes, new door locks, just to name a few. With that being said, due to the recent global pandemic, we had to put our updates on hold, but they have recommenced now. We thank you for your review, and hope that you enjoyed the Eastern Sierra.
