This hotel is outstanding. What I'm especially impressed with is the fact that after I stayed there in March, 2021 and filed a review here on TA, I was contacted by the hotel, responding to the very few, very small issues I had found during my stay. The hotel has promised to resolve a couple of the issues, and explained others--due to COVID regulations, some things were not as I would have liked. You rarely get this kind of personal, concerned, responsive interaction. I am impressed--and that takes some doing. So, you're wondering about the issues I encountered? Well, I won't waste time on the ones the hotel will be amending, since they will be non-issues. COVID regulations have discouraged the hotel from providing robes and writing material--fair enough. I still would appreciate a hand held shower attachment, but perhaps they will do this as part of their renovations. I would also appreciate an in room safe, but maybe that will come in time, too. They would get a 5 out of 5 except for these two things; as it is, the rest of the hotel is superb enough that I give them a 4.8. So to recap, and to repeat what I said in my original review, the room was, as booked, a star view premium premiere room. Check in was prompt, courteous in the extreme, and quick. Ditto for checkout. The view from my room was spectacular. The windows OPEN, which is a huge plus! The room was scrupulously clean, as was the bathroom--and I look in the corners! The bed was great, extremely comfortable and the sheets were crisp and smooth (I use 800 TC sheets at home, so I am aware of inferior linens. These were lovely). The room was spacious, with a little sitting area as well as a desk, a mini fridge, and the usual TV, Keurig, etc. Security is good, with extra door deadbolts and a metal bar that keeps the door from opening as well. Key card worked faultlessly. Closet space was huge, and mirrors were good. I cannot say enough about the staff. Even before being contacted by them today to discuss the issues I had expressed in my original review (which TA doesn't let you edit, so I had to delete it and re write it--this one!) I was impressed by each staff person's giving, responsive, friendly attitude, and their smiles behind the masks. Every effort is made to ensure that the guests have everything they need, and enjoy their stay. Although I didn't order room service this trip--I shall in future--I've eaten at the Hotel many many times and the food is always well prepared and beautifully presented, and tastes great. The location is ideal for touring the downtown filled with quaint one of a kind shops, the historic Moravian district, and close enough to walk over a nearby bridge to the funky, eclectic South side. Valet parking is available, or you can park yourself in the attached private garage. So if you are in Bethlehem, and you would like to enjoy a bit of history in your hostelry (see what I did there? I'm an author, can you tell?), want a quiet, elegant place as your home away from home, and maybe want to pamper yourself a bit, you can do no better than the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.…
I was back home for my “50th” birthday!! I loved our room with a view. And they have their own “scent” that smells like Christmas that you can purchase in the hotel store. The bar and the breakfast was amazing. My husband surprised me beyond what I would have imagined. The staff for the gathering was amazing!! Including a full bar with a great view on Main Street!! Also be sure to check out Johnny’s bagels across the street on the corner they has been there forever!! Wish I would have visited Pott’s Hotdogs though. Until next time Bethlehem!!
We stayed at hotel Bethlehem with my our family and we absolutely loved it. Very clean rooms, you can tell they’re following all the guidelines to keep their guests safe. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the food and the service were excellent. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel, we’re planning to revisit for Christmas time.
We had an amazing time at brunch in the Tap Room today. Absolutely loved our waiter Bob!! The food and drinks were above average. We loved it here so much we have now booked a weekly reservation for brunch :)
We have always made it a point to visit this wonderful place several times a year. This past December's visit was extra special and I will tell you why: Hotel Bethlehem and their manager, Brynn, went above and beyond with making my engagement come to life. I mean, seriously, they did not have to do a single thing! Just the venue in itself is quite enough for a memorable engagement. BUT THEY DID. The luxury suite, the lobby decorated in Christmas trees and lights, the champagne, the Christmas tree ornament used for the proposal...these are all pieces of a beautiful memory that myself and my new fiancé will hold close to us forever. It was a fairytale weekend and we cannot thank Hotel B and Brynn enough!! Maybe we will be back next year for a wedding.... :)
