the Londoner in Sarasota is a charming, friendly quaint establishment. When we arrived we were greeted by Jean, she's such a delight person. We sat and talked in the Living Room .. then she took us to a private Dining Room next door, The room was charming. Jean does all the cooking herself,,,,great job....The food...the presentation everything was top notch.,Great Job Jean... I will be Back
Excellent location, you can walk anywhere worth going. Nice and quiet room. Exceptional Hostess, Jane is a fabulous innkeeper, made us feel at home, great breakfast. Despite downtown being Covid impacted, great location, plan to return when things get back to "normal".
My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's Day and had the best time! The next morning we came downstairs to breakfast and a couple from Scotland! We now have new friends and a new love for B&B's! Can't wait to go back! Jane is so sweet and accommodating, you will be pleasantly surprised!
This little B&B had very friendly staff and they were very accommodating. We booked our room thru their website and everything was smooth and easy. We arrived a little early and were able to check into our room early. We stayed in the Greenwich room on the third floor. The room was great and you have your bathroom. Breakfast was good and they make sure you are full. It does take a little time to eat so sit back relax and enjoy. My only tip for improvement would be to get black out curtains for the rooms. We like it dark when we sleep and although there is a curtain the room is still very light up at night. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love too go back.
Jane was a friendly and accommodating hostess. She made sure she made a delicious breakfast suited to each individual's taste. She made recommendations for restaurants, made the kitchen available for tea (or coffee) anytime, and helped with checking in for our return flight. The location is ideal - 3 blocks from the river and the Riverwalk and within walking distance to good restaurants and activities. The rooms are very nice, but remember, you are in a 1906 home with all the quirks associated with it. Don't expect a modern hotel room. Then again, you get a lovely porch to sit out on. My only concern would be if the central AC could keep up with the heat and humidity of a typical Florida summer day.
