This room was superior to other "historic" hotel rooms where I have stayed. This hotel was remodeled in the 1990's but furnishings and finishes have a authentic old-fashioned look. The cute bathroom had a combination tub/shower. We had a small, standard room with a "partial view" because of a tree. Not really a problem. The hotel was full but I... More

Crater lake lodge is unique, in its architecture, location, and the beauty surrounding the lodge. To have the time and walk around the lake and sit at the Lodge verandah to watch the sunsets or sunrises. This is the place to be. the room is adequate, spacious, bathroom clean, bed is nice. But we had the bottom floor and the... More

Beautiful old and renovated historic lodge. Has much history. There is an exhibit on main floor. Patio has panoramic view of crater lake. There are bamboo rockers to sit on and enjoy. You can order refreshments and snacks. Gorgeous fireplace indoors. Restaurant is usual american seafood and steak fare and tasty. Dinner and breakfast were prepared well and service is... More

What a fantastic place, helped immeasurably by the view. The weather was perfect, the stars brilliant. We chose one of the Loft rooms, as we wanted a lake view was totally worth it. Had 2 Queens one upstairs looking north, entry room bed looked south, bathroom upstairs. Bed very comfortable, great linens. Everyone very friendly, they must love working there.

If you are looking for a lodge with a lovely view, this is it. If you want updated features like elevators, Wi-Fi, cell phone service, TV, air conditioning, updated bathrooms, etc., then this is not the place for you. The front desk service was friendly and we enjoyed the area surrounding the lodge, but the accommodations themselves, were not a... More

This lodge should be on everyone's bucket list. Very romantic and lovely. I felt like I was in the 1930s. Everything is classy. The rooms very clean - we only had a claw foot tub but man, our view was the best in the lodge. They told us it was one of the larger rooms. Room 313. We brought our... More

The big plus with this property is its location overlooking the lake. It is an Historic hotel and we enjoyed staying there for one night. This place books up almost immediately for the season in mid May and we were luck enough to have scored a room with a lake view. It is quite dated although the lack of TV... More

Crater lake lodge is typical of any national park lodge. Overpriced room and food but no one goes there for that. It's the atmosphere and views. We had a lake view room which was spectacular. No Ac but the room came with a fan and we have been at the national parks in the past so we did bring our... More

Crater Lake Lodge dining room is a respite for weary travelers who have made the long driver to the rim. We enjoyed lunch here twice, and the food was very good, though hardly gourmet. Still, portions were generous enough to satisfy hungry travelers coming in from a long drive or, the second day, from the boat ride in the cauldron... More

We headed out early on our adventure to explore Crater Lake. Unfortunately the ranger told us it was fogged in, not to waste our money. Tomorrow it should be clear. TY Mr. Ranger😎. We rearranged our plans and went the next morning. It was July and we had lots of areas covered in snow! Had fun making snowballs⛄ Disappointed that... More
