Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good WiFi, friendly staff. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Nothing to dislike here .No pool but otherwise everything was OK. The location was also good for us because it was near our relatives.

Decided to take a quick weekend trip to Yorktown and didn’t want to break the bank. The Crown Inn is located within a few minutes drive of Historic Yorktown. The check-in process was quick and easy. The attendant gave me the room key (an ACTUAL key) and said something about the bottom lock. I discovered when I got to the room that the key was for the bottom lock. The top lock was just a deadbolt. I’m assuming also for a master key? The room itself was fine. The A/C worked wonderfully, which was one of the biggest concerns in the crazy Virginia heat. The sheets were clean, as were the towels. The fridge worked, it definitely looked a little worse for wear, but it worked so I didn’t mind. I didn’t use the coffee pot, so I can’t comment on that. The TV was a decent size and had all the channels I needed. The bathroom was a little small, and there looked like possible mold in the corners of the tub. It wasn’t a big deal to me. The room was inexpensive, so I knew I wasn’t staying at the Ritz. The bed was clean, the towels were clean, and the A/C worked. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to everything, I recommend the Crown Inn. I’ll definitely be staying again.

this inn was pretty downtrodden a few years ago but it's highly apparent they have spruced up everything from landscaping to cleanliness to comfort. check in was efficient. still used real keys and not a card for your door which i find quaint. room smelled clean and was clean. bathroom needs rails in tub/shower. should be mandatory for everyone's safety but the area was spotless. water was hot. shower head was good. towels, while good quality were only 2 and i'm sure more could have been requested but 2 of each seems short. this is a fine place to stay for visits to yorktown battlefields; colonial williamsburg; jamestown and bush gardens/water country. i would return without any hesitation.

We arrived and the room had been freshly painted. The fumes were overpowering and we asked for another but none were availbale. The windows had been painted shut.. We tried leaving the door open but obviously couldn't sleep like that! My daughter developed a headache. My husband asked for a.solution. They eventually refunded our money and told us we had to be put in 20 mins. This was 8:30pm and with two young children, not good. We did find another great hotel for double the price. I would never recommend staying here. Absolutely horrible staff, check in was slow and antiquated. Rooms uninhabitable.

Everything was great, room was the smoking room I asked for and it was exceptionally clean, no weird smells of old smoke or too many chemicals trying to mask the smoke, just a nice clean room. The outside landscape was exceptionally groomed, and inviting. The rooms are a bit small, but we were a party of four and had plenty of room. I will say that they need better in-room coffee, because the coffee was horrible!! There is a Starbucks and a McDonald's less than 5 minutes away so run there to get your morning coffee! Other than the coffee, make a reservation here and save some money!
