This is not a fancy place, it is Willcox AZ, but if you are staying overnight this is very good place to do it. The bed linens are white and clean. My room had a microwave, coffee maker, and big TV. The nightstand had USB ports and outlets right there. The clerks were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was freshly made eggs and biscuits and gravy. Very nice stay.

Incredibly noisy location. The hotel is located directly across from a freight line train that runs every 20 minutes - 24\7 !! I'm very surprised no one commented on this before. Makes me wonder the validity of these reviews. Between the traffic, barking dogs and rattling freight trains, never coming back.

Response from Greg Hancock, Owner at Arizona Sunset Inn

Thanks for staying at The Arizona Sunset Inn. Our motel is part of the history and charm of downtown Willcox. The rail system has always been part of the town’s history and we encourage guest to tour the old rail station located in the heart of downtown. We have found that turning on the constant fan setting on the air conditioning unit in your room helps drown out unwanted train noise. We are also looking into the barking dogs that you heard. Thanks for your feedback!

We chose this hotel for the price and was impressed by what we got for the money: a quiet, clean room with a comfortable bed and pillows. The room had been nicely renovated and the owners were generous with their toiletries especially the bathing soap. Coffee and a continental breakfast were provided every morning. The owners went the extra mile to serve breakfast and it was nice to have that personal touch which had been a grab-and-go breakfast during our travels since Covid started. Though there isn't a pool, the "pool area" has been converted to a great place to sit and relax when the weather permits. Restaurants and conveniences are all within walking distance. Skip the chain hotels/motels you'll be taken very good care of at the Sunset Inn!

Took a day trip from Tucson to visit Chiricahua National Monument and stayed the night at Arizona Sunset Inn based on recommendations of friends, glad we stayed here. The entire property, including our room, was very clean and COVID safe, and the beds were comfortable. Our room had a mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffee service. Also the Inn's rates are very affordable and the owner Greg was friendly and interesting to talk to. We would highly recommend Arizona Sunset Inn!

We found this hotel by using trip advisor. The town is small and there are some chain hotels near the highway exit. The reviews made this hotel seem like the better choice. It really was. We booked the double Queen suite. What we found was a huge room with a nice kitchen area complete with dishes. Obviously this was even more important than usual due to Covid. The room was actually three rooms one with beds , one area with a table and couch for watching tv then the above mentioned kitchen. Everything was clean and check in was easy. Only a few restaurants in town but they are good so we ordered takeout and used our kitchen to reheat and enjoy our stay. Nice sitting area outside as well. Nothing to look at but the road but there are tables a grill and the area has lights All rooms open to the outdoors not a hallway Comparing to the chain competition on the exit this is far better.
