Checked in late (8:30PM).Room 112,ground floor. Front desk barely welcomed me. Quick process without using credit card for incidentals/damages. No signature of acceptance. This was a 3rd party reservation so I guess they don't care who is using their property. Comfortable bed in a very old [some might call] semi-rustic early California lodging. They need to upgrade the rooms to...

This hotel is very close to the Ventura county fairgrounds and beach. It must be a iconic or something hotel as it is very old but has that rustic feel so to speak. The regular rooms are small and there are no refrigerators in the rooms, bathroom normal size but and showed signs of being dated. I wasnt able to...

I love this hotel, and so did my friends. It's right in the middle of downtown Ventura so there's so much to do nearby. The Clocktower is also a very clean hotel and feels so welcoming. I highly recommend it! Oh, and the best part is there free continental breakfast in the morning. Delicious.

Nice staff, but worn out hotel. TV, air, and electrical sockets all broke. Price was OK, and located near all the action, including homeless camp at the edge of the parking lot, but you can't blame the hotel for that. If they put a few bucks into it, it would be a great place to stay. Redeeming fact is the...

I would rate this hotel more like a 3-1/2 star if I could. We stay here anytime we are driving through this area. It's a hotel now but was previously a fire station many years ago and there is memorabilia left from the fire station. It's very quiet. It's right in the center of town, you can walk everywhere -...

This hotel Owner is obviously collecting his spending money, weekly, and not spending a penny on his hotel! T.V.'s, A/C units, and ventilation fans in bathrm are broken, furniture is worn out, electrical sockets are hanging by a thread, dirty floors, dust everywhere, AND the Park next door, is full of the loud Homeless camped out!

We stayed here on a family road trip down the coast. We found this a quaint hotel in a renovated Spanish style building right next to the historic mission for around $100 in the peak summer seadon! Cosy lobby with fireplace and charming but small rooms. Great location right off Main Street! Near shops, restaurants and beach!! Breakfast in a...

Old, sad and tired. Hitel room was very dirty, sheets had stains, blankets were frayed and had cigarette burns. A/c did not work and room was very musty smelling. Chipped paint everywhere and Ragged carpet. Looks like a vacuum hadn't been used behind the dresser over- filthy! So glad only one night! Park next door full of homeless and vagrants....

This hotel was perfect for a visit to Ventura. You can not beat the location. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We could see the mission from our window. The hotel is a bit older but it is kept very clean and decorated nicely.

It's one redeeming feature is location - 5 minutes to shops/restaurants etc and 10 minutes to the beach. We booked a larger twin bed room which was OK, but very old fashioned and a rather tired looking. The room was on the ground floor and the window faced a huge wooden fence bordering the adjacent park, so lacked natural light....
