Disappointing visit. You can tell this was once a sweet little hotel but now she is tired and ill used. Hallways dirty, poor internet, very limited outlets, no charging capability, and the parking lot was so sketchy (high density of panhandling vagrants) that we elected to park our business truck on the street out front instead. We got a super... More

It's nothing fancy but it is very nice. People are really nice. Rooms are clean and really cute. We did not get any pictures, in hindsight we should have. Good location to downtown main street. Walking distance to Amigo's restaurant and the speedway down by the beach. It's not a 5 star but it is a great little gem! Small... More

Really cute small hotel in Ventura. We needed a place to stay and this fit the bill. We ended up in a room with a small patio. The only issue is as its near the beach the room smelled damp...musty...but it was clean and perfect for the nite. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay here... More

Small trip with Mom. She's uses a wheelchair, so this was a perfect place. Main street is only about 3 blocks, which made it possible for us to walk everywhere. (By the way, my Mother is 88yrs old and has been coming to Main St. in Ventura forever). She's a Thrift Store Junkie. Free breakfast was excellent and the Staff... More

Having stayed here twice in the past it was my hotel of choice for this years road trip. Very close to downtown with easy parking, there area does seem to attract its share of homeless persons, but we were never troubled by them. I hadn't booked....but needn't have worried as I think we may have been the only residents. Check... More

Our family stayed 3 nights in a room with 2 queens. We had a beautiful second floor view of the mission church and park. It's a great old property with a garden courtyard to connect the buildings. Breakfast was fabulous and filling with hot eggs, sausage, fruit and pastries in a beautiful atrium with large ficus trees. It's a unique... More

Comfortable, beautiful place close to the ocean, the pier, the mission, and lots of good restaurants, stores, bars, etc. Free breakfast was much better than normal, including sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and more. Upstairs corner room was great and heater/AC unit was quieter than most.

We had to stay here several nights because a relative had booked this hotel for us. We will never stay here again. Our room is dirty and in disrepair; my daughter punctured her foot on an exposed carpet nail. We asked for an extra blanket and received, an hour later, a dirty threadbare thing. Breakfast this morning (Monday) consisted of... More

We have stayed here multiple times over the years, This is not a chain hotel - there is some charm and some idiosyncrasies. Location is wonderful - we could walk through the park to local restaurants, museums and the mission. Yes, as others noted, there are homeless people in the park, but they were not panhandling, just sleeping. The main... More

This is right in downtown Ventura. Next to museums, restaurants and close to beaches too. There is dining dancing and something for everyone. The rooms are very nice with nice views. There is a little bar and restaurant at the hotel.
