Room smelled like urine. Lacked overall cleanliness. Check in process cumbersome. No amenities as in NONE. Not even water to purchase. Grounds are littered. Truly shocked. We Will never stay here again.

Staff isn’t very helpful snd the rooms are goin down hill but still clean enough for me to stay heat and wifi work great but having to deal with the customer service oh wait there is none so good luck it’s not that bad

Pillows like rocks, dogs howling at night, staff more interested in laughng and joking with each other while the customer waits to be helped. Breakfast food is a joke, waffles but no syrup or butter and told to use jam. Why would you offer waffles but no syrup and butter.

Great location, old and outdated everything needs an overhaul. Beds, bathrooms, new flooring get rid of carpet. Needs technology plugs for iPhones and computers. Needs security cameras, lighting, landscaping.

I've stayed here on and off throughout the years when I'm in town visiting family, and it's gone downhill a LOT- you should find somewhere else to stay. This was my last visit. When we got to the room (passing an abandoned toilet brush in the hall) there was only shampoo to wash our hands with, no soap bars, and the front desk guy said they were just...out. Of soap. At a hotel. If you read the reviews of this place, you'll see generic polite and apologetic notes from the general manager on all of them (I'm sure this review will have one too eventually). I'm guessing the manager is spending all their time doing this on all the review sites instead of running a hotel. How do you run out of soap? There's also mold in the bathroom, everything is just kind of falling apart around the edges, the towels are frayed, the mattresses needed to be replaced years ago, there's tons of traffic noise, and it's just...basically an incredibly crummy roadside 1-star hotel but you're still paying standard La Quinta prices for it. I'm going to send a note to corporate about this La Quinta basically being an incredibly poor representation of the brand.

After being told at check-in that we had been downgraded from a king room reservation to a room with too double beds, and nothing to compensate for it, it went downhill. The clerk told us our only option would be to go to a different hotel. Arriving in our room, the light switch by the door did not work, the room smelled of smoke and the lights over the bed would not turn on, and were hanging loose on the wall. At that point, I called a different local motel and made a quick reservation, then called the front desk and told them we were not staying. She told me to come down and return the key cards and gave me the refund paperwork. We have stayed at this hotel many years on our way up the coast. It has slowly declined each year, getting worse and worse. The grounds look trashy (elevator was AWFUL!), and the rooms are starting to look very drab and not kept up. The main reason we stayed was for the breakfast and free dogs. However, the other motel was pet-friendly, and we saved $50 and went and bought our own breakfast. Not worth staying here anymore. Would not reccomend to anyone. Motel 6 ended up being a better option - that is sad!

Our stay at this hotel was disgusting. There were multiple bugs found throughout the room. The bath tub had rust all over it. The towels were gross and dirty. The hotel phone did not work. I tried to call the front desk to ask for new towels and a coffee pod and I had to use my cell phone. When I talked to the man at the front desk he said that our phone in the room did work and then said "if you need anything then come to the front desk, I'm not bringing anything to you". Overall it was a bad experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Old hotel and it shows. Bathrooms are falling apart, tubs are stained, mattresses are saggy, pillows are uncomfortable. Other than that, the rooms and carpet are clean. There's a refrigerator and microwave. Basic breakfast included.

The grossest place I have ever stayed! I have stayed at many LaQuinta Inns. Some are great, others not so much. WYNDHAM should be ashamed to have the LaQuinta brand on this mess but judging by the lack of a response to my email they don't care. The property needs basic cleaning/maintenance. The rooms need to new carpet and basic upgrades in the bathroom. The breakfast was a joke! No orange or apple juice, the machine was turned off/broken. Old pastries, cereal, coffee with regular cream and sugar. I stayed on a Thursday night ($120ish) and a Friday night ($240ish) I understand that Friday is typically more and wouldn't care if the room was not such a dump but this was just nasty. This month for my 2 days off (I am a 24/7 in home caregiver for a 95 year old man) I booked at Holiday Inn at the Ventura Marina with a harbor view for $40 more than what thos place squeezed out of me.

Front desk girl with curly black hair was not welcoming at all and my room smelled weird even though I requested non smoking and had no soap to wash my hands in the bathroom, I would never stay there ever.
