I fish here at Lake Casitas 2-3 days a week and keep my boat docked here in a slip. The camp sites are welcoming and they have great facilities. My only word of advise is to make sure you bring quarters for the shower! If you have time to go fishing on your trip I highly recommend it! You can...

Worst customers service. Waiting all day because someone has set up in our spot, which was suppose to be reserved for my family. Kept coming back after every 2 to 3 hours and still nothing. They can't kick them out. So much for 6 months in advance reservations. Do not come!

We were driving our small RV and on a lark decided to visit Ojai. While there, we found Lake Casitas, and were so impressed after our first night that we stayed a second. Lake Casitas is so close to Ojai that I couldn't at first find this listing because I expected it to have an Ojai address vs. Ventura. It's...

The lake was remarkably quiet for a sunny Sunday. The girls loved the boat & picnic. The corner market deli used to be better, we will get picnic in Ojai next time. The cost of the 4 hour rental has gone up to $85. Be aware that all the great boutiques close promptly at 5pm on Sundays. The Indian head...

We drove down to the lower boat ramp, and then onto the gravel that runs along the very low waterline. After a minute or so we decided to turn back by starting a three-point turn onto the dirt AWAY from the lake. Instantly our wheels were caught in mud that you would not have suspected was there under the dry...

We camp here frequently here in our RV. All RV sites have water, electric and cable. Some have waste site in the campsite. RV sites are usually pretty quiet. Lake is very low and fishing hasn't been very good for me at least. Water park at the camp is open during the summer and is great for small kids but...

We had a great time camping here.We reserved 3 campsite. From thursday to sunday. Our neighbors were courteous and respectful. The water park was small but the kids had a blast. The only negative aspect of our trip were the bathrooms. The bathroom were nasty and by sunday they were back up and smelly.

They have several areas to choose from, all have different pluses and minuses. Most hook ups do not have sewer, but they have a properly located dump site. Noise level at night were pretty typical, and we could not hear too much after quite time. Always amazing to hear really young kids screaming and hollering after midnight, not sure why...

I gave this campground a soft three stars. Real soft! Like any campground near a population center, you tend to get a lot more noise at night. This campground is near Ventura and Oxnard. It appears to be a popular site on the weekend for large family reunion style get togethers. You get two or three adjacent sites and party...

We try to get together with family members in March and for Halloween. In March we get B campground and for Halloween we get F. The only reason we go there is for the family get togethers. Their pricing is and has always been weird. If you have an extra vehicle make sure they can see the sticker in the...
