Nice older hotel. Ornate with stain glass dome in main bar area. Friendly staff. Price is right through inter net hotel providers.. So shop there... Clean rooms which is always a deal breaker... Don't plan on any great pool action.. It's seems like an after thought just like 2am and there is one girl left at the bar..

To get to the hotel was tricky because the road was half blocked off to deter the music festival attendees from parking around the hotel I guess. So we had to drive around to get on the head on street to avoid hitting thw barricade. The front desk service was excellent and was very helpful (he just failed to mention... More

I booked 3 months prior ,and when we got the hotel they couldn't find our reservation, the tv wasnt working and the restroom looked a little dirty as well, and the main thing i didnt like was that they went and knocked on our door 30 min prior to our check out time and opened it before we had a... We stayed here for a weekend in May and found it to be a pleasant stay. Parking is fantastic and the location was perfect for us as we were attending a Chihuahua's baseball game which was across the street and in walking distance. The staff wasn't the most friendly or accommodating and the pool needed some attention. Dirty towels all... More

Well to start off the location is great. The building exterior is grand and stately. Parking was a breeze with 2 underground levels with plenty of spaces. The reception staff were quick and we had room keys within a few minutes Liked the original wood lined lifts and the hallways were bright and well lit Our room was clean and... More

We stayed one night, only because it so late when we arrived. Old and historic is no excuse for DIRTY AND FOUL SMELLING. The desk in the room was sticky. The room smelled of sour laundry. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The whole place smelled of flea market carpet. We checked out at 7:30 the next morning.

We stayed two nights and felt like we were the only ones until Saturday, when a huge wedding took place there, with dinner in the dining room. The rooms are large with dated. The hotel is immense and the owners are clearly unable to do the proper maintenance, as the windows are dirty and the carpets, furniture, bedding, etc are... More

I stayed here for three nights, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Upon arrival; the inside of the hotel is beautiful, with great ambiance. It offers many business, and leisure oriented room's. Both down stairs, and on the second floor. However, once inside my room; I was disappointed. It was very outdated. The furniture was old, and unattractive; the television was... More

One issue. The hotel should upgrade its outdated and poorly maintained fitness room. Both the exercise bikes are falling apart and there are only a couple of free weights. Also there used to be a TV you could watch but that is gone.

This hotel is very old and has good bones. The huge Tiffany dome/sky lite in the common area is beautiful. The rooms I saw were a good size. The location is a 3 minute walk from the Convention Center and walking distance from several eating areas. HOWEVER, the list of issues that will follow here are due to the fact... More
