Detailed Reviews

We had lots of choices of places to stay but the price cleanliness and amenities here really made it our #1 choice. Stayed here four nights to tour El Paso and had a special liking for El Segundo Barrios. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and visibly happy to be there and it showed! Hotel was spotless, our room was large and clean with fridge microwave and hairdryer. No road noise even though location is next to a highway, good mattress and nice bathroom with plenty of fluffy towels. Breakfast was abundant even though it was a simple one with yogurt apples Danish pastries and instant oatmeal. Nice to have a full day coffee dispenser in the lobby. Only small issue are the drawers of the cupboard which have missing knobs or handles. These oversights can be easily fixed if the maids are trained to report every fault in the room which requires immediate rectification so the room is well maintained at all times.

We stayed here for one night. It is close to the highway and that was a plus for us. The room was clean and comfortable, nothing special. The sink and tub drains didn't drain quickly, but the water was nice and hot We were disappointed in the breakfast, not much variety at all. I understand covid has changed some things, but we have been to other hotels with a lot more offered for breakfast. The coffee was good though. All-in-all, just your average place.

We came to el paso to visit a family member at the hospital. This is not a fancy hotel but it is very convenient and clean. Anyone we talk to were friendly. Continental breakfast was as simple as it gets but for the price and location to the hospital it was perfect for us.

Worst hotel stay so far. Rooms were expensive, dirty and old. Bathroom door was falling off the hinges, door knob was very loose, beds were uncomfortable and AC did not work very well. The room overall was not very well maintained and the staff was not the friendliest. We planned on staying a week but stayed just one night. We were charged for the full week and had to call the hotel and ‘argue” with the woman just to get our money back. The woman that answered was very rude and unprofessional. Her attitude was “you signed the paper when you checked in “. I was polite from the beginning of the call to the end. When I explained my dissatisfaction with the room and the staff and that I was leaving a negative review, she said “ Do what you want, we are always sold out”. At that point I hung up.
I do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

This hotel was such a delightful surprise! Have never stayed anywhere with this chain of hotels, chose it for convenience. The manager Rick could not possibly have been more accommodating and service-oriented. The room was extremely comfortable, well-appointed, clean, safe, and easy for a long-term stay. Will stay at this hotel every chance I get and also try others in the national chain as a result of this delightful experience. This being Texas, my only recommendation is that the staff needs to take masks and social distancing precautions much more seriously for their own protection as well as that of their guests.

Fair Price, Clean, Comfortable, Beautifully Wonderful Friendly Check-In.
Room 107, first floor facing I-10. Motor Traffic Loud because of the Freeway, but I can endure that. Simply ask for a room "Away from the Interstate"....Maybe that is the "even" numbers.
$70.00 AAA rate for one (1) person King.
GREAT INTERNET - Fast.
A+, Clean, Comfy, The Bed was "just Right".... Lots of pillows.
For $70.00 TOTAL, you could not be disappointed.

Went to check in and Tina at front desk was extremely rude was on personal call before she assisted me. Rolled her eyes at me, hissed when I told her I needed to check in. Should have never checked in, room was in bad shape. Bed cover ripped and black stains, ac didn’t work well, doors were messed up, shower was messed up with cracks, hole above ceiling in shower. Breakfast bar not it had a drink and yogurt. Called front desk and more attitude. WILL NEVER AGAIN!

We came here after our first hotel was a bust.( see my other review). This hotel is such a breath of fresh air. It is 99.9 % clean and the staff is awesome and super friendly ( shout out to Tina ❤️).
So there are some dust bunnies under the table and some scuffs on the walls. But the bed was clean and comfortable.

Room was clean, nothing fancy, but that was expected. Staff is friendly, and property is quiet. Breakfast could use a slight upgrade, but had enough to satisfy until lunch. A/c works great. Would stay here again!

While the hotel itself is pretty nice, has a good location and was the best option for our trip's purposes, the receptionist who checked us in treated us VERY poorly. She had an attitude since we came, talked to us as if we were 5 year-olds, and even when we requested her name to make a complaint she mockingly pointed at her shirt, which had nothing written on it. No name bad, no embroidery. She truly was disgusting. She even thanked us for making our day bad. When I recorded her being mean to us, she got offended and tried to change what she was saying to her favour, but it was honestly a very terrible experience.
