I had to make a choice between this and a "standard" hotel, all of which seem pretty much the same to me. Staying at the Empress made the trip! All the folks are delightful, the house is extraordinary, bed super comfortable, fantastic breakfast, and the whole experience was unique and wonderful. So much care has gone into every aspect of this... We can't think of a better place to have stayed for our four nights in Little Rock. The Empress is a beautiful, old Victorian home that has been lovingly and beautifully restored. We stayed in the Petit Jean room, and we found our accommodations to be spacious and comfortable. We slept well. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood,... More

This is a great place to stay. I had a very relaxing time here. I read a book in their hammock. The sheets on the bed are amazing. The best part of my stay was breakfast. The oatmeal pie and french toast were fantastic. Well worth the money.

The house is amazing. They have taken great care to restore this wonderful old property and it is beautiful with lots of character. Breakfast was delicious and the staff are exceptionally nice. Highly recommend.

We had great time at this beautiful antique place. The decoration of the house is delicate and the breakfast is also amazing. Most importantly, this is the perfect stay filled with warm atmosphere and hospitality. Definitely worth visiting.

The house is very opulent. Very historical but we didn’t experience any hauntings luckily. Amenities are impressive such as coffee, tea, snacks, cold bottled water, complimentary turn down service and amaretto liquer for your sipping pleasure. You even can tour the attic and see the gambling room. This house is located close to Governors Mansion and downtown. The fanciest B&B... More

We stayed here for five nights in May 2016 and were very impressed with the beauty of the property, the furnishings and all its Victorian splendor. It is apparent that the owners put a lot of love and time into restoring the original house to its present condition. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at The Empress, but we probably would... More

Obviously, we'd love for everyone to have the perfect experience. On this very busy Memorial Day weekend where we had a full house, we had a major communication gap between staff and tried to make it right for the guest. While we strive for our guests to have the best experience, we are sorry your stay was marred by this... More

Originally just looking for a stopover while visiting the Clinton Museum and got directed to this family-run B&B that features period rooms, period service and, I have to add, period water pressure. Nonetheless the surroundings are charming, beds comfortable and community breakfast where guests meet and mingle a sumptuous and scrumptious must. It ain't the Ritz Carlton but if you're... More

I just returned from 4 days in Little Rock at a business conference held at this amazing bed & breakfast in the historic area of the city. What a special place! The décor, the service, the food, the gardens - well it was a true delight to have this relaxing experience while at a business meeting. If you are traveling... More

The service was wonderful, the room and accomodations were gorgeous and you are waited on for breakfast. All though I was there for a business conference, it still felt like I got away from the hustle and bustle of life.
