The Empress of Little Rock is wonderful! We have stayed in B&B's in historic houses before, but this tops them all. Of course the innkeepers have service down to a "T". From arrival to Breakfast to departure, every detail is taken care of. The house itself has been beautifully restored inside and out, with lots of unique antique pieces in... More

Staying at the Empress was like stepping back in time to a bygone era! You could almost hear the voices of the family members as they went about their daily activities. What fun it was to venture up to the attic to explore and find behind a sliding door the lovely stained glass window suspended in the ceiling of the... More

The Empress of Little Rock was a delightful experience! A unique, historic and elegant gym of a home lovingly restored to its original beauty. The Innkeepers were personable and helpful in every way. We stayed in the Eliza Room and slept in one of the most comfortable beds we've every experienced. The gardens outside the home are beautifully groomed and... More

The greeting, room, staff, hospitality and food were all that we could've ever wanted. Always within reach if we needed someone but totally felt like we were enjoying our own private getaway. Beautiful home & fascinating grounds to explore for quiet little moments. Loved learning about this grand madame's interesting history & how she was resurrected with love, skill, patience...... My husband and I spent one night at this bed and breakfast. The old Victorian house was fabulously restored. It has about six bedrooms that have their own private bath. The entire house and rooms have a lot of stuff in them that I guess adds to the charm of the place but I don't think I'd stay there again.... More

I surprised my wife with a getaway for our 25th wedding Anniversary at the Empress. From the moment we walked through the front door we were treated like family! The Inn is beautiful, the food is fabulous and the staff is outstanding. We split our 2-night stay in the mansion one night and a suite in the carriage house the... More

We stayed at the Empress overnight for a concert. What an amazing home! It is beautifully decorated and inviting in every corner. Our innkeeper, Deborah, was wonderful. She was welcoming and gave us a great tour of the home packed with colorful stories. We stayed in the Murray Suite - the bed was comfortable and love staying in part of... More

This beautiful old house was stunning. From the moment we walked in Debra was so sweet and helpful. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of the house as well as other places to visit in Little Rock. Everyone that stayed the night we were there was also attending the Dolly concert. When we go back to Little Rock... More

My husband and I enjoy staying in B&Bs. This one was extraordinary! A true Victorian style residence close to downtown. The history is such that it is listed in the Historical Buildings Register. Alena, the Innkeeper and chef, was very gracious and accommodating to our vegatarian-grainless diets. All dishes are homemade including sorbet, chocolates, whip cream. Breakfast was served in... Enjoyed a lovely even mint her on my way to Nashville. This B&B was just 2-3 minutes of the freeway in a lovely section of Little Rock, just outside of downtown. A gorgeous old home, the innkeepers are happy to share it's history with you. The furnishings are lovely and period-appropriate. Didn't get to enjoy the homemade breakfast - had... More
