We’re staying at various places on our 5 week cross country trip. Some have been busts, one Airbnb in particular was a joke. But this Comfort Inn was just what we needed. Clean, comfy, lots of parking, continental breakfast sufficient. Recommend
This is a budget-friendly/economy hotel. It has 9 room floors and I’m guessing construction dates back to the 70s. It is located on the east side of downtown, and on the east side of I-30. Note that as of this review I-30 is (still) under reconstruction in this immmediate area. So what does this mean? - Room prices are good. - The hotel is solid as a rock. The floors are concrete and do not bounce at all. - The hotel is not in downtown proper but across the freeway from it. You could walk over into downtown, but I wouldn’t. Other reviews commented on the hotel being on the edge of Sketchville, and I would agree. - the freeway exits and access in the area are a little challenging to navigate. Observations: - Front desk staff (Kae and Brea) were friendly and helpful. A great first impression. - Corridor and elevator carpets were DISGUSTING. - 9th floor hallway AC was off/not working. This is the floor right below the roof in the middle of summer and it was like 90°. No bueno. - Sink in bathroom was cracked. - We had a suite that was dogleg shaped. But with only 1 under-window AC unit, the room that wasn’t by the AC didn’t get very cool.…
We are repeat customers for when we are in Little Rock, AR. This motel checks all the boxes for value, comfort and location. We usually take advantage of the location to enjoy the Little Rock downtown, with good restaurants, and a lovely river walk with a very nice outdoor sculpture display. The downtown is a little bit of a walk, but very do-able, and there is a courtesy shuttle if you prefer.. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is very friendly.
A fabulous getaway. When I got here. The staff was awesome and wonderful. The room was top notch with everything I could ask for. Amanda, Sherell and Kevin are my favorite people to see. I'll definitely be back again
Mrs Sherell is awesome along with the rest of the crew here at comfort inn. I stay here once a week and they have always been very good to me in every way they can and also my coworkers and my wife when we are down. Definitely recommend staying here and having this team take care of you.
The price was right and the rooms were clean and spacious. Trip Advisor has a two hundred character minimum for reviews- it's a reasonably-priced hotel that is a little threadbare but has a staff who are really dedicated to helping the traveler.
I have stayed at many hotels in the Little Rock area-this is by far the BEST!!!!! The rooms are extremely clean. The bed sheets smell like bleach. The whole hotel is non smoking so there is no smokey smell coming from the ac. Room service is great. Friendly staff. The parking lot has ample room for everyone. You just hop on the freeway and can be anywhere in Little Rock or North Little Rock in seconds!!!! Very close to Arkansas Children's Hospital!
This is one of the best hotels we stayed at all the way to West Virginia and back. Clean and comfortable. Left clothes in closet and they held it for us. We loved Sherell! Very personable and customer service with a GREAT smile and personality!
Room was clean, spacious, accessible, nice view. Friendly, personable, informative, acknowledgeable, and helpful staff. Sherell was awesome. Also the young man that checked us in. Can’t recall his name. Security present and alert. Need a more variety of breakfast items Parking is free Accessible to interstate and historic downtown
One of the larger Comfort Inn and Suites that I've visited. The staff is what makes the difference. From the breakfast staff to the ladies that tend the bar in the evening to the front desk (where Sherell's smile and hospitality shine) - there is excellence everywhere.
