Cedar Canyon Retreat RV Park & Campground is the best of both worlds, in the mountain woodlands, but just 5 minutes from the conveniences and festivals of Cedar City. We have a 4-bedroom log cabin, 20 RV sites with full hookups, and several tent sites. We are located in the heart of southern Utah, with Cedar Breaks National Monument just a few minutes away, and a short drive from Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Our woodland community is especially well-suited for reunions and other groups. A great place to park your wagon!

A great place to stay! Sites are not too close with good shade. The bathrooms are the nicest I have seen at a campground - always clean and well-maintained. Only a few minutes from Cedar City downtown and the Shakespeare Festival.

We stayed in our RV at CCR on our way to Duck Creek. One of the best RV spots we’ve ever had. Rachael is a wonderful host. Clean, shaded RV spot with a picnic table and fire pit. The showers are spotless. We will be back.

We had been at Bryce Canyon and came over route 14 to the campground. Probably not alot of people are crazy enough to drive over that very high and steep mountain. But we made it! The campground was not well marked coming from that direction. We almost missed it. However, we loved our stay. Nice woody setting. Loved the beautiful canyon. We had site #1 that is a pull through and also close to the bathrooms. . Each bathroom was self contained with its own shower which was really nice. Very clean! Each site had a picnic table and fire ring. Would come back!

Very nice campground up in the mountains. Fairly easy trip up from Cedar City but it's a little tight and a smaller campground. Our 3o footer towing had no problems. Bathrooms were spotless and cleaned daily. Grounds were also pretty and well maintained. A beautiful setting. Very nice efficient check in. We'll be back.

We were so excited for our first trip to Utah, we chose this place because of the good reviews and it looked inviting. It certainly wasn't anything like the reviews stated though. We ended up being disappointed and downright disgusted. We were here for a week, Oct 17-24 and enjoyed our spot, #17. This place is a wonderful location, has a lot of potential. The only drawback for us was the incredibly disrespectful hosts! We had campers below us for most of the week and they made a constant mess in the bathrooms/showers. As it turned out for us, the host did not clean the bathrooms or showers the entire week! They didn't even bother to check-in everyday to make sure that all was as it should be. We checked in on Monday and come Thursday, we were out of toilet paper. I walked up to the bathroom by the hosts and took a few rolls, as they had plenty. They must have seen me help myself because within 15 minutes, they drove their truck down to the bathroom, stocked it with toilet paper and emptied both of the overflowing trash cans. However, they did not clean or wipe down anything, no shower and no toilet cleaning. Needless to say, by the end of the week, the bathrooms and showers were getting pretty disgusting. We don't understand why they wouldn't clean everything more often. We paid the owners a sizeable amount of money, we deserve to be treated with respect, just as the owners would want to be treated. We did not deserve to have to deal with the disgusting filth in the bathrooms/showers, every day. If this was our place, we would at least make the rounds EVERY DAY to make sure that everything was satisfactory for our guests, no clogged toilets, no messes, emptied trash cans, etc. That also includes wiping down surfaces and cleaning! Overflowing trash cans is unacceptable, as well!!! It was truly disgusting and it made us angry. We just don't understand the "perfect reviews" because this place left a lot to be desired. The hosts appeared to us to be less than motivated to do much of anything. To be so lazy as to not make sure your guests are comfortable, is unacceptable and says a lot about how much they truly value their guests. These hosts are disrespectful and should not be working in the hospitality industry, as they seem to have no idea what they are doing or how their actions affect their guests. They are truly disgusting, as well!!!!!

From the time we checked in to the morning we left (6 nights), we had a fabulous time at Cedar Canyon Retreat. The hosts, Tom and Peggy, are gracious, welcoming, and willing to do what it takes to make your stay memorable. We stayed in site #6, the best and roomiest pull-through for a large RV and truck we've ever had. The bathrooms were updated and sparkling clean. The sites were spacious and clean and afforded more room between neighbors than you normally see. It was convenient to Bryce NP and downtown Cedar City. The setting is beautiful on the side of a mountain with a stream running along the highway which we went wading in. So fun! Cedar City is a really cool town with everything you might need. We will most definitely stay there again.

The location of this campground is perfectly situated between Cedar City and the many outdoor adventures that await in southern Utah! It is on the smaller side but can accommodate a variety of RV sizes. We were happy with the allocated space and privacy for the site and enjoyed the views of it's natural environment. We are planning to return and stay longer!

This place is a hidden gem and definitely worth staying at again and again!! The owners were incredibly nice and super helpful!🤗 They even recommended calling ahead for prime rib at Milt's (a delicious steak house within half a mile up the canyon). We paid $60 after tax for a large pull through site. Our extended bed truck & 20ft. toy hauler fit perfectly in #16! You do loose cell coverage up the canyon, so their speedy FREE WIFI made it possible for us to call our children and watch our Netflix, lol. It was after 9pm and we had a tent camper "shush us," as we were setting up, but that was our only hiccup, that camper could have asked nicely. We most definitely recommend this site/Retreat to all! It's super close to Cedar and the TWO best steak houses within 50 miles. You should definitely book this stay! Sites 6 & 7 looked like the premium spots. ;)

Absolutely loved this campground. Our site #4 was perfect for our Class B+ RV, very comfortable. Nice bathrooms with showers - very clean. You must take a hike to see the waterfall - beautiful - and just a short hike. Tom and Peggy were great - really enjoyed them - very nice people. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

This RV park is beautiful and the owners went to a lot of work and planning to provide each spot with a comfortable space. We will be back again. This is the best park I have ever stayed in. Fire pit, table and trees for shade. The Mountain Views are gorgeous !
