Another amazing stay! We are never disappointed with our stays in the cabins at Old Mink Farm. My family of 2 adults, 2 older teens, and a mid-sized dog stayed in The Quiet Oak this visit. The cabin was clean, warm, and ready for us with a personalized greeting upon arrival. There is always enough firewood for both the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit, the kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay (traditional coffee maker, toaster, gas oven and 4 burner stove, refrigerator/freezer, large table, cookware, dishes for 6, silverware, dish soap and sponge/towel. The cabin is also well decorated for the season. Bring your own sheets, towels, and toiletries, but the beds are comfortable and are supplied with pillows and a comforter (we still brought additional pillows for our comfort), and there is a nice bathmat to greet your feet when exiting the shower. Also supplied in the bathroom are soap and toilet paper. The shower is a good size and the bathroom is very clean. Water pressure and temperature are never an issue. The dog was comfortable on either couch in the living room (2 two-seater couches) and snuggled up in bed with us at night. She also loved walking with us on the Woodland path and playing in the fenced doggie area by the playground. We enjoyed the gameroom, which has video games, a pool table, air hockey, and a number of non-electronic options (puzzles, board games, books). We visited the store during our time there to get some ice cream. They also have any essentials you may have forgotten, including ingredients for s'mores. Staying in the cabins during winter is nice as it is very quiet and peaceful. The entire Irons family is amazingly friendly and helpful. We did not require anything during our time there, but talking to them during reservation, check-in, our store visit, and check-out, they are just such good people to work with. We look forward to next year's visit!…
