Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We enjoyed a brilliant stay at this hotel. By far the best advantage is the location, around a 10 minute walk from Penn Station, 5 minutes to the Empire State and just 15 minutes to the Rockerfellar/Timea Squate. We spent 4 days here and only needed to get the subway once when

Best way to get to this hotel from La Guardia?
While The Hotel @ Fifth Ave hotel does not provide courtesy transportation, there are plenty of options to get into Manhattan. Based on your group, we invite you to find the best option for you all. While the Subway is the least expensive (fares start at $2.75 per swipe at a station or on the bus), you do have to first ride a bus, then drag your luggage onto a subway train car, and walk a couple blocks to the hotel – and depending on the time of day that could be a challenge. You could use the company Super Shuttle from the airport, which costs approximately $25-$40 per person and drops you off right at your destination. These are shared rides which may make other stops in Manhattan. No reservations are required from the airport to your destination, but they are required for your return trip. Also, you can visit these other similar companies online to arrange shuttle service at your own convenience: Go Airport Shuttle, State Shuttle, and NYC Airporter. You can also take an NYC yellow or green taxi from the airport. Do not take the Black cars/private taxis at the airport. Or you can book a private car like Carmel Limo, or use a ride-sharing app, like Uber or Lyft. I hope that helps!

Do you have to pay resort fees ? If so how much ?
Hello Traci. Thank you for your message. The hotel has a daily Facilities Surcharge of $18 plus tax. This is a comprehensive daily fee for facility use and amenities bundle, inclusive of premium Wi-Fi for up to six streaming devices per room during your stay, unlimited local and domestic long-distance telephone calls and messaging, continental breakfast, and, where applicable, 24-hour use of business and fitness centers. The hotel Facilities Surcharge is $18 plus 8.875% tax daily, or $19.60USD daily. All hotels in NYC have City, State, and Occupancy taxes. They are 14.75% + $3.50 per day. We hope that helps and look forward to your stay!

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns, Eefalean. I understand the hotel has initiated the refund during your stay. After refunded transactions are initiated at the hotel, it is your financial institution that completes the approval and releases the funds. At that point, it can take up to 2 business weeks (or longer depending on the country of origin, financial institution, holiday bank closures, etc.) to be reflected in your account. As with most credit and debit card holds taking a matter of business days to release, you may also want to reach out to your bank for more information. The hotel can also send a letter to your bank requesting that any pending authorization on your account be removed. If you would like us to do so, please contact the hotel directly and we would be happy to work with your bank to remove any pending charges. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we hope your matter is resolved quickly.
