La Quinta was by far the best deal we found in the city...have stayed in several hotels that cost more and found this to be EXCELLENT! No view but we were in the room for such a short time it didn't matter. The room was bigger than most NYC rooms..clean, and the front desk help could not have been friendlier...

The La Quinta Manhattan turned out to be a great place to stay. We took the train from Kennedy to Penn station and walked the few blocks down 32nd st to the Inn. The room is small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was always nice and the concierge helpful. The rooftop bar was cool, it's...

Visited here for my 21st birthday and everything about the hotel, the room, breakfast etc was lovely. However on our last day we checked out just before 11AM and walked a block up the street when I realised I hadn't put my Pandora bracelet I received for my 21st birthday a week prior on my wrist and had left it...

Great deal, due to location and bargain price. ($109 with AAA discount, mid-January). Remember, this is mid-town Manhattan, so don't be put off by complaints of a small room. You're in NYC - the town that doesn't sleep at night. Queen-size bed took up most of the room space. Room very clean. Bathroom very clean. Room quiet. If breakfast for...

Room was extremely small. Suitable for the two of us. as we stayed only one night. Room was clean and smokefree. The lounge area was nice. Elevator was quick. Also included continental breakfast, that was a plus.

If you dont mind the traffic this is a great place to stay with easy access to most tourist attractions. There is a subway station on the corner or just walk - you cant get lost with the way the streets are numbered. Rooms were cosy and beds very comfy. Lifts are a bit on the slow side. The rooftop...

I start with the good. Ok, so the location is great. Next to the Empire State Building, close to everything, bang in the middle of Midtown. Superb. The housemaid on our floor was really kind, she helped with the air con (in the heating function), did the room the best job when doing it up, even checked back the next...

The customer services at this hotel is probably THE best service that I have ever experienced as a traveler esp a deaf woman. I booked via booking.com and four days before, i had received an email stating they couldn't charged my card. I called the hotel via relay service and the gentleman was very patient and explained what was going...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
