Wow, loved the location of this hotel. Its easy to get around in the Manhattan Area. It has so many places to eat, awesome bakeries; 24 hr restaurants; stores. The service is excellent, they include breakfast. They have a very good roof top bar, excellent to mingle for a while before you hit the street or after. Would stay here... More

Clean place ,nothing broken or worn out. Free breakfast. Two big blocks to Madison square garden and the Penn Station Subway and Amtrak. Macys is right there and the New jersey transit has a station there. I am a subway fanatic and go everywhere. I go to Flushing Queens for cheap good restaurants. Like they used to have in manhattan... More

We booked this hotel quite some day in advance regarding the fact that my wife is a smoker and they have rooms where smoking is allowed. Nevertheless the smoker rooms were completely dark facing a dark funnel - an unpleasent sight. All the rooms on that floor were similar. Well if they want to punish somkers for being them they... Dear hirschpeter1, Thank you for staying with us. We’re sorry you found the room to be a bit dark. Because of surrounding buildings, not all of our rooms get lots of natural light, including smoking and non-smoking rooms. We apologize for any inconvenience. We hope you reconsider us for any future trips to New York City. Liz from Apple Core... More

This hotel is the most convenient location from everything. Conveniently located near Pennsylvania Station it was a short walk after getting off our train from Providence. It's a short walk from Times Square and the Empire State building. The room was much better than expected and the staff was very friendly! Great for my first time in NYC.

My wife and I stayed here in July last year for two nights over a weekend to visit the area. Good location in Koreatown near attractions but very congested. Traffic, people, noise, construction and garbage but it's NYC! The hotel is clean and our room on the tenth floor was small but nicely presented. It was away from the elevator... More

Dear NextStep9, Thank you for sharing your experience. We hope you had a great time in New York City. We’re sorry you were worried about your security with the rooftop bar. We do have security cameras in public areas as well as staff on duty 24/7 to deal with any issues. Other than the occasional noisy bar patron, we have... More

For the price this hotel is well located and nicely kept!... Very close to nice attractions in NYC, the staff is also very friendly. Small rooms but nice comfortable beds... It is located on a street full of Korean karaokes, it is fun. Definitely coming here again.

We walked right by this hotel. The entrance is sandwiched between a busy food culture. Other than that, it is close to the subway station and fairly easy to get to. We go there late and found ourselves in a suite right under the Empire State Building and private balcony. I thought it would be loud because the bar is... More

My friend and I stayed here right before Christmas for a week on a girls trip and we had the best experience. The location is phenomenal! With it only a half block from the sub station and maybe a block from Macys and the Empire State building, you really can't ask for more. The front desk people were always very... More

Location is wonderful, 1/2 block away from a subway station! The rooms are small but have everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. We had a room by the elevator and did not hear any noise. It is one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in. The concierge was very helpful. The blizzard limited our time outside... More

We spend one week in this hotel. The location is simply perfect, 10 min to Times Square , Penn Station or Porth authority. 1 min to a subway station connecting to the entire Manhattan. Room rate was good and breakfast and wifi is included. This hotel is know my preferred option when travel back to NYC.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
