Really rude and very bad management.
My room card was deactivated and the internet in the room was switched off, as the front desk had left me a voice message to pay the bill (the day before checking out).
I paid in cash and they...More

Was great to be back and try out the new menu , we all had various different dishes which were all well received. The sharing desert platter was fantastic and went down well with my colleagues!
Great service as always.
The Roosevelt Hotel is an older property in midtown NYC that is a block from Grand Central Station and nearby excellent shopping and Times Square. The lobby is classic, something out of Mad Men and you'll pay 2x for a similar feel in most NYC...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

It is great value for a stay in NYC. Very central, you can walk to everything including GCS and all the nice shopping and food, buses or taxis and off course Mad 46 but will be closed in Dec. So yeah, the rooms feel like they need a proper clean up and windows opened for some fresh air and bathrooms work but very old, even then for that location, I would still return for the price. So go ahead and come enjoy your vacation at the Grand Dame of New York.
