Reserved two rooms with king-size beds for family visit. Spacious rooms with great views and service was great. Great location for walking visits to midtown sites and easy travel connections to downtown and upper Manhattan sites too. Only minor issue was elevator waits, at times; but, have had that same experience at the three other midtown hotels we had stayed...

I know the reviews are 50/50. We honestly didn't find it bad at all. I'm giving it 4 stars, not because it's a 4-star hotel, but because it was what I was expecting. The location was great, and for that location, it was the best price I could find. As most of the reviews mention, the lobby is very nice,...

Feel the old-world glamour of movie stars and royalty. The Roosevelt is my go-to place whenever I stay in New York. The rooms are small but clean and cozy with everything you really need to be comfortable and secure. It is just steps away from everything in mid-town and around the corner from Grand Central in case you have to...

The Roosevelt is super convenient to everything in Manhattan!!! The hotel & room have old world charm with modern touches! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot, and the room was large enough that my sister and I weren't on top of each other. I gave it 4 stars because the room was a sauna!!! I understand about controlled...

Good value for your money. Parking was made very easy. Great location. Our room was very small. Hotel lobby was very impressive. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities. I would definetly recommend this hotel

Stuck in Manhattan due to a snowstorm! Got online and booked the room. Prayed it was going to be clean! Very pleasantly surprised!!! Great central location. A historic hotel and in Manhattan so the rooms were small. Very clean and tidy. Not a "Luxury" hotel, but totally clean and serviceable! I would stay there again! Not sure of regular pricing,...

The Roosevelt was our home for our three night stay in NYC and we couldn't fault the location. The hotel is imoressive when you enter the foyer, but the rooms need updating. There was enough space but everything felt tired and out-of-date. The lifts were appalling during our stay with many other guests complaining about the time spent waiting. The...

My husband and I stayed at The Roosevelt in December 2016. We were drawn by the recent $25MM+ renovation and excellent location just around the corner from Grand Central in Midtown Manhattan. I gave this hotel three stars instead of one or two stars because we got what we paid for. This hotel was half the price of some other...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
