I am sitting here reading reviews about how terrible this place is...I honestly loved it. I told my family several times that the staff was very nice. At one point our hair dryer blew and we called the front desk and it was replaced within minutes. The staff was so very helpful and never once unfriendly. People need to stop...

We booked a standard room using Club Carlson points and were upgraded to a penthouse room on the 18th floor, which gave access to the lounge on the 17th floor. The room was fairly big, but the bathroom was average. Considering the age of the building this isn't surprising. The staff were all welcoming and helpful and I would definitely...

This 3 star property located on Broadway, is considered one of the Historic Hotels of America because of the magnificent building where the Radisson group runs an operation of 533 rooms. The hotel offering in New York is generally expensive and rates are not necessarily in proportion to space and comfort. However, the Radisson Martinique on Broadway offers small and...

Travelled with my father for a birthday in May 2014. We wanted somewhere local and at a competetive price, do not think we could have picked anywhere better, only once did we need to get a taxi after a night out. After a small mix up between double bed and twin bed (which was fixed in minutes and with a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
