Not knowing New York we chose this hotel hoping that it would be ok and not too far from the places we wanted to visit. We were not disappointed! Only streets away from grand central station, Bryant's park, Empire State and a short walk to Times Square it was perfect. Our room was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we... More

You are always going to get a decent hotel when you stay with Marriott and this was no exception. Great value for an amazing location that was walking distance from Times Square, Theater District, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, etc. I booked a double Queen bed room and it was great. Free Starbucks coffee and tea offered daily and... More

I had a problem with loading the wifi on my phone so AnneKae at the front desk helped me. She was very nice and fixed the problem quickly. Very helpful. She made sure I was happy and that I was enjoying my stay.

We arrived at Grand Central Station and walked 10 minutes to the hotel. Perfect! I used the Marriott app and checked in the day before. When we got there at 12:30 the room was waiting for us and we were checked in one minute later. Great! The common areas and the room were nice and clean and the staff we... More

If you want somewhere where the staff really couldn't care a bit about you staying at their hotel then this is the place for you. In my short stay here I encountered some of the rudest unhelpful people I've ever met. The rooms are basic, but clean but I wouldn't stay here again if it was the last place in... More

I apologize for the rude service you experienced. I assure you this is not indicative of the service we typically provide. If you look through our reviews, you will see the vast majority speak of how great our team is with our guests. Once again I apologize for the poor service you experienced. Sincerely, Scott S. Like all courtyard Marriott hotels, you can count On a certain level of service. This one is no different, it is solid and a good price value for midtown. The gym is adequate, maybe a few not enough pieces of equipment. Internet is ok, not great. But a good value

We were desperately looking for a NYC hotel for my dad to stay in while my mom was being treated at the NYU Langone Medical Center. Most of the hotels in that East Side area are boutique hotels which were very expensive and really not a comfortable style for my dad. This hotel was comfortable, clean & most importantly -... More

Pretty skinny building and pretty small rooms but it worked for a family of four (got a room with a king bed and sofa bed). Nice to have complementary coffee/hot coco on the second floor near the workout room. Location is great as it is right near the public library and walking distance to subway and Times Square. I have stayed here several times and find it to be a great value near Bryant Park. Beds are always comfortable and hotel is just steps from the New York Public LIbrary and Bryant Park. Winter Village and ice skating at the park in the winter. Close enough to theater district to walk to most places. Friendly staff. No restaurant... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
