The front desk staff were SO rude. There was one nice woman, but all the men treated me like I was an annoyance. From checking in, to getting change for the vending machine, to having them hold my bags until it was time for my flight, the staff acted like their job was an inconvenience. The man who checked me...

No bells or whistles, but this hotel is clean, comfortable and friendly. The rooms are on the small side, but most hotel rooms in Manhattan are. The location isn't bad, Lexington and 30th, so it's close to Grand Central Terminal. It's also walk-able to tourists sites such as the Empire State Building, Macy's, etc. But the best part of all...

It's difficult to find a good quality, well located and reasonably priced hotel in NYC. I searched for a long time before finding this one, and it definitely ticked all the boxes. The room was clean, comfortable and fairly large. The staff were helpful and the area was very convenient with great access to all the major sites. Nearby were...

We stayed one night and the only thing I found not perfect was the bed was too hard. I am not complaining about the bed being hard it seemed too new which I prefer over an old saggy bed. I am a diabetic and this hotel had a free breakfast that I could eat something hard boiled eggs and whole...

We booked a couple of nights here. Upon checking into our room, we were met with the distinct smell of cigarette smoke- ugh! It was quite late. The front desk informed us that there were no other rooms. We stayed in this room and were moved early (before 9am) the following morning. We appreciated the responsiveness of the front desk....

This is cheaper than most Midtown hotels and you get decent value for money: our room had a coffee machine, and breakfast was included, something which was not standard in other, more expensive, hotels. The room also had wifi and a bluetooth speaker/clock radio. Breakfast is basic, but better than nothing. Location is fine, you are not in the heart...

We a family of three visited the Ramada over the new year period. It is a fine hotel. Warm, clean and modern. Staff are friendly but not pushy. Our room was clean, modern by American standards. Beds extremely comfortable. Pillows perfect. The room was warm and inviting. The bathroom was clean and the water was always hot. If that wasn't...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
