This hotel is close to many sites of New York City/Manhattan east. The lodging and staff cannot be beat. The concierge is outstanding. This is the only place I stay when I go to New York City. The rooms are always clean and the views are wonderful. There are many very good restaurants nearby.

Were in NYC for a quick visit to see The Gin Game. Stayed here at a great rate. The staff is extremely efficient, everything is very clean and we were amazed at how quiet it was. We were not disturbed by "city sounds" at night and were able to sleep very soundly. We live in a very, very small town... More

I stayed 3 nights in Courtyard Marriott Midtown and I had a decent experience. I was little bit disappointed due to lack of lobby when I entered the building. However room was spacious enough and comfortable. During my visit weather was freezing and cold wind was blowing from window. I had to close the curtains in order to cease the... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review our hotel. We appreciate the positive words for our staff and for the most part the hotel and location. I do apologize that there appeared to be something wrong with window and AC. Regarding the non-storage of your luggage, for security purposes we do have restrictions on storage of luggage... More

I was looking for a room with 2 queen beds (not so easy in NY) and this Courtyard did not disappoint. The room was large and clean. We were on the 16th floor with a city view. The room was quiet (with the constant hum of the heating system). The room was available for early check in. There is no... More

Among the better courtyards. Seems to have been recently renovated. Clean, well equipped rooms that are similar to most Marriotts and thus a step above the usual Courtyard. Very affordable for midtown Manhattan. Very friendly staff. Free wifi.

I have lived in NYC for 5 years but now i visit on Business. The hotel to stay at, is this Courtyard Marriott on 3rd Ave ( between 52nd and 53rd). The rooms are the largest in Manhattan the Staff is very friendly and the location is excellent. I would stay here every time. This weekend of the Snow Storm... More

If I had to be in a snow storm this is the kind of hotel I am so grateful to have stayed in. The location is the best for a wonderful visit to the city however this Marriott goes way beyond that! It is so refreshing to be greeted with such a friendly staff even in the middle of the... More

Booked for an anniversary weekend break. Room available 5 hours before official check in. Check in was polite and slick as were the doormen. Room was spacious, clean and particularly quiet. Hotel very conveniently located: 10-15 min walk from Grand Central, right on top of a metro stop, pharmacy and shops. Plenty of cafes and bars in the area although... More

This was a great hotel away from the hustle and bustle of 5th and 7th Avenues when we stayed there after Christmas and on New Year's Eve. Spacious family room for 5, great view, courteous and friendly staff. Hotel recommended a number of local restaurants, every one within walking distance and offering great service. Highly recommended. Only one thing missing... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
