I have reviewed this hotel favorably in the past and we just stayed there again for a couple of nights around Thanksgiving. I can't recommend it highly enough. For one thing, the location is amazing, in easy walking or subway distance to so many sights, stores, etc. The rooms are very large for Manhattan, the beds are comfy, there is... More

The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Grand Central Station and near the subway. It is midtown Manhattan so anything you could want is a block or two away—a Duane Reed (Walgreens) in the building, a Starbucks across the street, Sport Authority a block away, restaurants everywhere. The ubiquitous food carts with bagels, pretzels, and hotdogs, and $1... More

Just spent 5 nights at the Midtown East Courtyard by Marriott. Booked through Expedia who completely messed up our reservation, splitting our group of 8 in half - 4 at this hotel and 4 at another Marriott Courtyard !!! Staff here couldn't have been more helpful, and found us a room so we could all be in the same location... More

I was at a conference in NJ and met my husband in NY for a weekend getaway. The hotel is located close to everything - restaurants, museums, subway, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We did not eat breakfast there - great places nearby, or use gym - we walked everyday to our points of interest. No shuttle to... More

This hotel is close to several subway lines. The neighborhood is very safe for walking around, even late at night. We had a room on the 30th floor with a nice view. The hotel has a main lobby on the 1st floor with check-in, concierge and bellhop. But the 12th floor has another nice lobby area. The 12th floor has... More

This hotel was great! I stayed here for 3 nights in a room with two friends. We paid $295 per night. The room was bigger than what was offered at any other hotel. They also give you great paul mitchell toiletries which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, though the pullout was quite springy and not ideal -... More

The hotel was in a great location for us, away from the noisier Times Square area. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, lots of places nearby to eat. The room was very comfortable and big enough for the four of us. Used the hotel transfer service to get to JFK which was great.

We visited NYC for a few days while my husband had business. We chose this hotel for the location & price. It was a nice, clean & spacious room. We were on the top floor and had a great view of the East river. It was very accessible to all of Manhattan's attractions by walking or hopping in a cab/uber.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
