I'm really used to be hosted in Hilton hotels mainly in the Garden Inn chain. Surprisingly I had a really bad experience, particularly in this Garden Inn. The front desk wasn't so polite as I'm used to deal with. And the rest of crew that used to manage the guests luggage is more concerned with tips than care about the...

I was in NY on business and staying at another location, which was fine. I decided to stay over the weekend on my own dime and found a good rate at this location. As you are probably aware, a great many NY hotels are short on space, in the lobby and especially the rooms. I was elated when I opened...

Great value if you are here to enjoy some theatre. All venues within walking distance. Staff very friendly. Not fancy, but clean and comfy. Try to get a corner room, as they are a bit larger and have a couch. Food in this area is so-so. I advise you to look online before you travel there.

I brought my military interns to NYC to visit the 911 Memorial, One World WTC, and Museum. These Soldiers are fairly new to Hilton property stays, and how the point system works. Ms. Slay was exceptional at check in. I am a Diamond member so my breakfast was included with my stay. Ms. Slay saw the Soldiers and immediately stepped...

It's a Hilton, which means good service and clean rooms, nice amenities, and I was not disappointed. The other reviews here are accurate. Staff was friendly and eager to assist. Really good rate for the location, and it is a great location. About a block away from Times Square and less noisy, several subway stops within a block of the...

The hotel is around the corner from Times Square, and functional. Room was clean and well appointed with fridge, microwave, flatscreen TV, clocks. No tub though, and plain white duvet against brown decor (dull looking). But the front desk staff were terrific, concierge desk very helpful, and the bell hop helped me find the PATH station.

This hotel was clean and the room wasn't run down and was large by New York standards. The attached restaurant is closed (and there was apparently a discount to the restaurant across the street that I wasn't told about) but it didn't affect our trip as we likely wouldn't have eaten there anyway. Very convenient to theatres, Times Sq etc.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and have been very happy, however, this last stay was not as good of an experience. The staff has been very pleasant and helpful in the past but this time they weren't. The room was not cleaned very good. Great location, just don't think I would go back.

My older son got to do a semester abroad in Europe last year so this year we gave our younger son his choice of spring break destinations. We've done some family vacations in New York City, so he knew what he wanted. Eventually he (we) settled on New York City, specifically Manhattan, meaning as close to Times Square as possible....

Very nice and modern hotel just 1 block away from times square. Price is reasonable for New York. Elsewhere it's a $120-$150 per room per night here it is $250-$300. We came for a weekend and had 2 rooms reserved. Both were very clean. Check in was very quick, staff was great. I was a little surprised that their restaurant...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
