This hotel highlights the classic old NYC vibe. Sinatra playing in the lobby, vintage decor, it was a step back in time, and I loved it! We had a fantastic weekend here. For three days in the city and a long list of things to...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

The hotel and location is safe. The staff do secure the property for the night and check all guest and victors to ensure safety and security. Witness myself, and was glad they took the extra level of attention to ensure everyone would have a wonderful night's sleep. Kitchenette is a bit small for food, but NYC has a ton of eating out or while on the go options. Its a small cooler fridge that can hold milk for babies, juices and some small packaged food. Suites / Room are comfortable and you will be able to sleep well.

Something else to consider about having a car there is that Trump Tower is nearby, and the traffic has gotten a bit tougher with all the secret service vehicles if the first family is there. We had our Uber driver let us off at the corner and walked the last block to the hotel due to traffic congestion. We take the train so much here at home that it is our first instinct to check for public transportation options, so I'd be more inclined to leave the car at home. It is rare that we even rent a car unless we're in a place without trains and buses. The good thing is that this hotel is so perfectly located that you certainly don't need your car.
