We could have canceled our plans to travel from our home state in the south, but we decided to make the best of a trip to Manhattan in a much different way than we have experienced in the past. Suggested options were walking in Central Park, bike riding, visiting the restaurants that we have been so fond of in the past (if only for takeout), and possibly seeing the tree in Rockefeller Center. So it did not turn out to be a complete bust, although we were very saddened by the governing "leaders" who shutdown all indoor dining. I hope that these businesses will survive this COVID crisis. Some have not. The lucky ones could afford outdoor space heaters and vinyl enclosures. I wondered if the NYC mayor and NYS governor dined in these sidewalk and street structures, too. Anyway, the Manhattan Club staff could not do enough to make sure that our lodging accommodations were enjoyable. All of the staff (including the reservations specialist) were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was both clean and sanitized, and the furnishings were just as comfortable as they have been for all of the years that we have been staying here. We had to do without certain things like the business center, the fitness room, and the 26th floor lounge, but we made good with walking around the city and seeing family who live in Manhattan. It was a very memorable trip, and the Manhattan Club staff helped to make it so!

Hotel's Favorite
Spacious quiet accommodations, daily room service and replenishments, very clean and private, friendly polite setvice, lovely hotel. I was very lucky to find these very reasonable accommodations on short notice during the COVID 19 pandemic in NYC. The security guards were very kind and protective and I felt very safe staying there.

Daytime reception staff was helpful and friendly. Room was quite spacious for 1 person, with 2 bathrooms. Great location, steps to Central Park and next to subway. Hot water took 15-20 minutes, make sure to run the tap way before you plan on taking a shower/bath. RCI members pay a resort fee, the same as pre-covid price, even though the lounge and gym are closed. I thought the fee should be decreased to reflect decrease in offerings
