The hotel has a great location, it is possible to go walking to many attractions. The staff was very helpful and the room was very comfortable!

We booked with travelocity "secret hotel" Do NOT book with this! You dont get what you request, but a single bed. When we complained, Travelocity would do nothing and the hotel claimed they were booked. They did accomodate us with 2 very small single beds but the beds were hard as a brick and so are the pillows. We asked...

Myself and my friend stayed here for 4 nights. We had a corner room on the 4th floor and it was perfect. We found we have plenty of room for what we needed, and lets be honest, who is going to spend lots of time in their hotel room in NYC! Admittedly the room and furniture was a little dated,...

The hotel has an excellent location but very old rooms and not much cleaning. For its location and in comparison with other mid Manhattan hotels was a good bargain. We would recomend this hotel for travelers that do not want to spend much time in the room.

Air-conditioning wasn't working one night; electricity was off the next morning. By the time they got a good room, 5 hours was wasted. This hotel has a few nice rooms left, but unless you're somebody, you'll get one of their old, dusty, cramped closets with no electrical outlets in the bathroom and broken down furniture. For the price, you can...

Me and my friend, both 21 year old, we travelled around america and wanted to stay in the cheap hotels in our all destinations to save money for obvious reasons. So i sort of expceted the hotel to be a bit scruffy. But when we arrived i was really pleased to find it was really nice from the outside &...

Our family of 4 enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Wellington very much and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Pros: location, efficient staff, very clean room, hot showers, working and quiet A/C unit Made 2 different requests to housekeeping, reserved roll-away and extra blanket, both were brought up immediately. Hotel also granted us a late check-out. Cons: rooms...

Dissapointing is the only way to describe the room had at the Wellington. You were lulled into a false sense of security with the grand reception and efficiency of the reception staff and 'bell boys'. (One gan only say these were the best part of the experience) The first room we had was tiried and dated and very small, after...

I was hesitant to stay with my 9 year old at this property after reading several negative reviews. I took the chance and am happy I did. The hotel is dated, however very clean, extremely friendly and fantastic location. Night noise a problem at lower floors, to be expected in any city though keep it in mind if its a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
