I am staying here for one night and this hotel is old & dirty. Mirror in bathroom has black dots and there are wires of everything is unattended. Water does not drain properly. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.

I stayed for one night at the Wellington hotel, I chose it to be close to a morning meeting I had in Columbus circle. First of all, the bellman don't care at all about helping you. I travel with a large 80lb pelican case and a few suitcases and asked for a cart to be brought out, was met with...

The wellington not only had the charm of a NYC hotel, the location was perfect. We were walking distance to many of the locations we wanted to visit and steps from the subway, which got us everywhere else. The rooms are small, no doubt, but we didn't go to spend the days in our room. They were the perfect size...

Central located to the subway (which is right outside the door), Times Square, Carnegie Hall, Trump Tower, and Central Park. The room was not the nicest I had ever stayed in but it was ok. It was clean and spacious. The beds were soft and there was a rain shower head in bathroom. It has a small refrigerator and a...

This hotel was recommended to us so we booked it. It has a great location central for everything but it is dated and our room had the most noisy heating system ever and our toilet would not work on a couple of occasions. The hotel did send someone up but it's not really good enough I don't think. And the...

Staying one night in NY and went for the most competitive last minute deal. Wellington came up. I had not been here before but is a great location. Hotel is very busy and really packs them in. The room is Tiny, even by NY standards. It was fine for me on my own for one night but would be too...

Bit miffed on the first night of our stay to be shunted off to a sister hotel The Blakely because people were delayed by snow. OK I get that- and we were given the same level of suite we had paid for, with kitchenette, coffee maker, cups, utensils etc. as I would expect. When we finally made it into the...

I almost didn't stay here, because some of the reviews were quite negative, but for the price range and location, I was willing to take a chance, and am glad that I did. I travel to NYC frequently, and need to be in the Times Square area, and for the price you will not find many comparable hotels. Yes, the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
