This place is simply great! The decor is suburb and the staff is extremely attentive. The rooms are extremely spacious and super clean. The TV barely have any station selections but you can digress...

We recently stayed for 3 nights. The hotel lobby and foyer are quite grand and impressive when entering for the first time. The rooms did look quite dated (understandable for such an old and historic hotel), however I could not fault their cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable and notably the room temperature was controlled perfectly. Outside noise was minimal....

Very confusing method resulted in frustrating check in. If you have Hilton Diamond Status it will ignored at this Hilton Property. Also very expensive, Breakfast Buffet is 100.00 per Adult. Small children is ~50 each. Plan to wait 30min to check in and if you complain (which I did) it will be ignored. No special HHonors desk either.

My wife and I took a trip to New York recently to visit the family, and to take in a few sites while in the big apple, our hotel, arguably the most famous one in history, the Waldorf Astoria in New York. The Waldorf continues to maintain very high standards despite being a qutie old property. While the rooms are on the small side (not by New York standards however), they are clean, quiet and well done. The bathrooms are the same: tight but well done. What makes the hotel stand out is its history, public spaces and location. Park Avenue gets...

Stayed one night here at the end of a longer trip for a special treat. The hotel speaks for itself in terms of style, class and beauty. Excellent location. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Went there for a meeting. WAs looking forward to it, as just wanted to sleep and learn. But beds were terrible, old small rooms. Will go back to the meeting next year but will stay at a different hotel, which will be about the same price but I believe much better accommodations. Needs urgently an update.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
