Beautiful hotel. Small but lovely bedroom. We loved the location, which was well placed for all the local sites. We walked to all the sites from here. Very safe location. We had room only here, so unable to comment of the food.
Of course cost dictates accommodations, but if you are lucky enough to get a suite, you may never want to leave! Old world NY and impeccable service..it helps to be kind when checking in! The Bull and Bear never disappoints in food and service and Oscars always serves up a lovely breakfast..although room service is the best! It is lovely to just sir in the lobby, appreciate the architecture and watch people!
Great hotel amazing views.. Rooms are spacious and large, just a little outdated.. Aircon worked well bathroom was large robes provided.. Lobby large and grand.. Pretty good location although a little far from times square.. Cold and snowy but central park zoo still worth a visit.
We stayed at the Waldorf so we can tour New York it’s in the Centre very well located you feel in the middle of the action we were a walking distance from everything I fell in love with their high rise coffee lounge The rooms are roomy and well furnished I will come back
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over te years and I stayed a single night and I am glad it was not longer. I arrived at 4.30pm and my suite was not ready I had a dinner engagement and needed to get changed as I had been flying for 9 hours, for a dinner engagement. I got my suite at 5.10 pm the suite was nice enough but not exactly what I ordered in my reservation. I returned to the hotel I realised I had left my key in the room so I went to the front desk they messed me about for 15mins before I could get back to the room. The bathroom had not been cleaned since I left the hotel. Just not good enough. I have learnt my lesson and will not be going back to the New york Waldorf.
