Everything is amazing here. The rooms, restaurants, bars. And the history and architecture. The location is amazing however some things could do with a little tender care like some decor in corridors etc but otherwise..Love, love, love ❤️

Of course cost dictates accommodations, but if you are lucky enough to get a suite, you may never want to leave! Old world NY and impeccable service..it helps to be kind when checking in!
The Bull and Bear never disappoints in food and service and Oscars always serves up a lovely breakfast..although room service is the best!
It is lovely to just sir in the lobby, appreciate the architecture and watch people!

I was on holiday with my wife and had an amazing time, the bar tender was very knowledgable about cocktails and introduced me to a chocolatini which was amazing. We sat for a couple of hours trying different cocktails and just taking in the ambiance and history of the place. Great afternoon out.

The staff is excellent stayed many times, like seven at Waldord New York City, never gets old. Food is top notch and staff always willing to help highly reccoment the Bar aways plenty of laughs to be had. The area is very confident for business meeting and gathering but meeting family of Lodo is nice too. I love to stay here, the beds are always comfortable and staff must work all night to clean the hotel. it is so to, the plaza hotel is ok but Waldorf is great.

Yes the rooms are small and it could do with a bit of a spruce up. But its still the Waldorf Astoria and all our CEOs who attended our meeting there loved it. Exceptional location in the heart of the city and still one of my favourite spots for a drink. If in NYC this is a must.

My husband booked this as a surprise for my 30th birthday.
The hotel is so iconic. We were upgraded to a "Towers" room which was lovely. Room was a little dated but for such an old hotel, soon to be refurbished, this was to be expected!!
Best buffet breakfast we have ever seen, and we've stayed in some amazing hotels!!
Service was a little on the slow side at some points but all staff were friendly and attentive.
A slight lack of atmosphere- but the hotel is huge and we put this down to the looming closure.
Bull and bear steak house was literally out of this world.
Sad to hear it's going to close for so long-hopefully they try and keep some of its NYC charm!

For sure is an momentous residence to be… If you are lucky to stay here, without dubs will be an unique experience.
Suite you fell NYC, you fell the American dream!! Staff is WoW, top of the top.
Also the food is very good (Since I am comparing with the Meddle Easter, which food / service FB quality is poor in all the Hilton that I have been)

Yes they had but it is closed till 2020 for renovation.
are you joking? It is "closed for renovations" for years... even so- how can they promote an hotel that is closed???
I stayed there for a "last hurrah" Feb. 24-27, 2017. I believe it closed just a few days thereafter. Most of the buildings is being converted to condos. The exact plans were not public at the time. I was led to believe there may be a small hotel component in the remodel.
