Great location, close to NQR and F subway lines. Rooms clean, comfortable Free tea/coffee/hot chocolate machine in lobby was nice Got a good deal online so was great value for money for a trendy hotel. Would definately stay again if price right. Also there is a fantastic cheap & authentic little japanese restaurant next door with great food!

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend we were getting married. Prior to our arrival, I had emailed the manager of the hotel asking him to please PLEASE let us check in early as we had lots to do in preparation for our wedding the next day. No reply to my email. Upon arriving at the Shoreham at...

The Shoreham hotel is a boutique hotel in a great midtown location. Upon check-in you are offered a glass of champagne or a glass of bottled water. I chose to just "check-in" and forgo the offer - didn't know how long the champagne had been opened or the designer water bottle. Would have been better to just let you have...

Great location cute boutique feel. We loved this hotel. It's right in the middle of everything within easy walking distance of Madison Square Garden, Broadway, Hell's Kitchen etc. It's super cute, posh modern feel, friendly staff. It was a great base for all all NYC running around and a comfy place to return at the end of the day.

We had a long weekend in Ny - and stayed at this nice hotel. Perfect location close to 5th ave, and loads of small shops, restaurants around. Easy walking distance to more of less all of manhattan. Staff friendly and helpful. Would love to go back

I just took my first trip to NYC and stayed at the Shoreham. It was amazing! The location is perfect, we felt so safe and so close to everything, just a short walk to bars, restaurants, central park, etc. The lobby is very cool, has a very boutique feel. We were greeted warmly and given a glass of champagne while...

The first time I stayed here was about 15 years ago, it was a new boutique hotel opened in an idea location. I stayed also in 2004 and 2007, so it gradually became my New York home while I have been tried some other hotels. However, from my recent experiences I found that the hotel becomes to be disappointing level,...

I've stayed at the Shoreham on several occasions over the last 10 years. Despite being urged by trustworthy sources that standards had dropped precipitously over the couple of years at the hotel, I decided recently to give it a shot anyways. I should have heeded the advice... No doorman, no help with our luggage (no offer), very slow check-in with...

We stayed at the Shoreham for a quick, one-night trip to the city. Since it was a Saturday night and less than 2 weeks before Christmas, a hotel room in New York is expected to be quite expensive. I booked the hotel through Travelocity using their 'top secret hotel room' feature, which was my first time gambling on a room....

Just back from a recent stay in The Shoreham over Thanksgiving. The reception staff were friendly and efficient as were all of the other staff we encountered. Our party had booked two rooms (714 & 716) and they were both very clean and in my opinion of a good size (certainly based on hotels in the UK!). One room had...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
