We love the Pierre hotel. The service in the Pierre is the best. They care customer service and care your stay in NY. We had a lovely time there. Pierre upgrade our room and prepare gifts for us. Location is perfect to stay at central park south. It's very easy to visit everywhere in NYC. Small touching made a big...

Is this the most luxurious hotel in NYC? No, but what it lacks in modern design and furnishings, it makes up for old skool service. White glove service; greeters in the elevators; proximity to Central Park. It's a place that is not for everyone. If you are seeking a place to "party like a rock star" and modern furnishings, the...

My family and I stayed at the Pierre Hotel over the Thanksgiving weekend. The location is pefect, it is a few blocks North of all of the action on fifth avenue and an easy walk to Central Park, museums and the shopping on fifth avenue. But the hotel is in a quiet, relaxing area and even on a busy weekend...

The service was excellent. I have stayed at a lot of five star hotels around the world and never found a hotel as well run as this one. It is not cheap but it is worth it. the concierge service was knowledgeable and very helpful. the maid service was top notch.

Stayed for a second time at the Pierre and enjoyed it. I was surprised that the reservationist knew that we were booking again within the same year, but the front desk did not. The room was on a higher floor this time with a partial view of the park. I'm not sure the room as big as our last, but...

The Pierre has the best service - hands down - of any hotel that we have stayed before. Everyone from the elevator attendants to housekeeping to the dining staff. Warm, friendly and exceptional service and beautiful hotel. Highly recommend!

A hotel I've known since the 60s, where I was introduced to the bartender by my Grandfather. A sentimental favorite brought up to a modern, high standard. The desk help at checking was extraordinary, a fellow who brought me a toothbrush, speedy and broadly smiling: The staff was wonderful.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
