Taj knows how to do it right when it comes to hospitality! Loved the food, service, courtesy car and the Central Park Views. Ana Pavloska ,knows how to take care of her guests! The American and Indian food both are great, and all the staff is extremely courteous.

There are not enough words to express how amazing this hotel and its staff are! The Pierre is a true gem in the crown of Manhattan, an absolute must stay!!! The rooms are spectacular, the bar a lovely little hideaway, the staff is beyond amazing, this hotel lacks nothing! From entering the doors with the help of Devon and other doormen, you are quickly welcomed into a friendly, luxurious hotel experience amongst friends. Abraham at the concierge was so very helpful in suggesting dinner recommendations, Khady and Samantha in the elevators were such a joy to speak with, Paul the bartender, the kindest man with amazing cocktails, and truly every single member of the staff we interacted with were amazing!!! We truly felt we were speaking with friends our entire stay. We hadn't even checked out of the hotel and were already thinking of when we can come back, and perhaps even having our wedding there! There is no other option in New York - it's always the Pierre :).

A friend who frequents NY recommended that I consider staying at The Pierre. After noting the property recently won the coveted Forbes 5-star award for 2024, and seeing all the perks offered by booking through AMEX, I decided to book this for a mother-daughter celebration trip to NY. The location is perfect, next to Central Park and the Subway along 5th Avenue, and offered a warm and welcoming home base for our week long stay. We were excited to learn of the (almost) 100 years of history and were charmed by the warm and friendly staff throughout our stay. Our needs (even the unexpressed ones) were anticipated, or special occasion was acknowledged, and the service was so amazing that we simply did not want to leave. It is worth it to book the guestrooms facing Central Park! If you are planning a wedding or a special event, the ballroom is one of the most exquisite venues you can find in NY. We especially enjoyed the traditional elevators and the elevator attendants, which make it a quintessential and classic NY experience! Be sure to take advantage of the helpful concierge team - they steered us in the right directon for anything from coffee, museums, restaurants, bars and entertainment. We are grateful for this extraordinary team of professionals who work here, and couldn't have imagined a more perfect stay in NY.

We stayed 4 nights at The Pierre during a sightseeing visit to NYC. Staff were always very friendly and helpful when needed. Special thanks to Abraham the concierge who was always available with great tips. Rooms are luxurious and spacious. Nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. Location is amazing right at 5th Avenue next to The Plaza and Central Park.

Our stay at The Pierre was like being in a fairy tale! Right from the get-go, the staff, particularly Anna at the front desk, was an absolute doll, showering us with warmth and hospitality. Anna even arranged a delightful tea and biscuit tray delivered to us right in the lobby while we waited for our room – talk about a sweet start to our adventure! And when we got to our room (which Anna also worked hard to get us into early), it was like walking into a dream – spacious, luxurious, and with a bed so cozy, it was practically begging us to snuggle in all day (seriously, leaving it was a struggle of epic proportions!). The bathroom was straight out of a spa brochure, with a heavenly shower and a tub perfect for unwinding after a day of gallivanting around town. The city views from our window were simply mesmerizing! The best part were the little surprises left by the "Housekeeping fairies" LOL – sunglass cleaners, cord protectors, lavender satchels... they truly spoiled us rotten! They even left me a bookmark in my book on the night6stand, which I thought was the cutest thing ever :) Also, this is one of the only remaining hotels with an elevator operator! What a charming touch! It felt like we were time-traveling to a more elegant era with every ride. The hotel's historic vibes and hand-painted murals lent it a unique allure, and discovering its rich heritage was a treat in itself. The complimentary continental breakfast was delightful – fresh coffee, pastries galore, and tea to rival the Queen's stash. Sure, it may not have been the most low-carb spread, but boy, was it worth every delicious bite! The location can't be beat – within a stone's throw of Central Park and all the glitz and glamour of 5th Avenue, we felt like we had front-row seats to the city's hustle and bustle. Sure, it may have cost a pretty penny, but every cent was worth it for the perfection that was our stay. We're already counting down the days until our next trip- We're hoping to stay at the TAJ Mumbai this Fall!

This is not your average hotel! The lobby is filled with posters of famous guests who have stayed there. Everyone there is beautifully professional. All the little touches in our room were amazing - From the little mats by the side of the bed at night, the turn down service ,the waters, wrapping my phone cord! …all the thoughtful touches! The restaurant, Perrine, was excellent also. The concierge is there to help with directions and recommendations.

Thank you for an unforgettable stay at the Pierre! We’ve stayed all over Manhattan, at the Palace, the Mandarin, the Four Seasons, etc. But the Pierre, beyond its iconic location, and expected luxury, was so personal and special. I came to celebrate two of my kids birthdays (both living in Nyc). From the set up in the room, to remembering their names in the lobby, those were birthdays I will never forget. The service at The Pierre was the best and every staff member went above and beyond, paying attention to the details, to make it that way. The staff at the restaurant was delightful and the food was delicious (ESPECIALLY the Indian off the menu). Then, across the street, there was Central Park. Obviously, you can’t beat that location. We went on a family walk, the first warm day of winter, and then came back to the Pierre for breakfast. The view from the room was equally beautiful. I think my daughter wants to move from Soho to the UES! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to be back.

Our main problem was the bar and food availability after 10-10:30 was non existent. If you come back from the theater you have no choices. It would have been much nicer to have the bar opened to at least 11 and to have at least a machine to grab some snacks

Not a Jewish Friendly Property. Mr Piccalo, the Head of Security, called the police and made a false report then used force and anti-Semitic rhetoric to publicly shame me. Anna, the daytime manager, witnessed part of the interaction and was appalled. I have the video which has been provided to counsel and the press.
