Our stay at The Michelangelo was great from beginning to end. The front desk couldn't have been more helpful (unexpected, early check-in and a stay beyond check out time to accommodate our train schedule) and the whole team terrific ambassadors for the hotel. Every person we came in contact has worked for the hotel for years and seem to love...

This is a great boutique hotel with a European flair. Staff was service oriented and always went out of their way to deliver quality service. Location is convenien to Broadway shows and good restaurants.

Being our 1st time in several years to NYC, this hotel met all of our travel needs and expectations. I highly recommend a stay in this property. I'll select another location if available when I travel.

We loved our stay at the Michelangelo in New York. Location was amazing, especially if you are planning to see a show. We saw School of Rock at Winter Garden, which was literally across the street. Stay was helpful and kind. We "splurged" and got a small suite. It wasn't huge but was perfect for our family (two adults, one...

I started staying at the hotel because it is just a block from my office. I have been back over 20 time and put up clients there because the staff is just super and the rooms are not cookie cutter and for NYC spacious. Lobby has a nice small European vibe to it which is nice. Just wish they had...

We were in two suite bedrooms and even though you can tell it is an old hotel, they are trying hard to keep things at a niçe level. The carpet was probably new and well kept. If like us the type and size of bed and pillow matters, then the Michelangelo is definitely your hotel. Personally I didn't like the...

Need to think what guests want instead of how much you can take 0ff them by charging ludicrous prices for cans of coke and the likes. Ultimately, this is self-defeating and engenders negative sentiment

Two blocks from where Wicked played and walking distance to several nice restaurants. House keeping was excellent and the concierge and doorman were very, very helpful. My sister has a handicapped daughter.

Totally fine stay just north of Times Square. Priced right. Clean. Well-appointed. I was a New Yorker for 10 years and would never opt to stay in Times Square, but I was back in town for a work thing, it was January, and I had to do stuff in the area. Quiet room with a view of a wall, but...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
