Excellent freindly service. Good location especially for Broadway shows. Handy to Central Park and Carnegie Hall. European taste and flair. Great bed. Quiet sleep. Lovely lobby and friendly bar. We'd repeat!

I worked in the theater in NYC and the location of the Michelangelo is perfect for accessing all my usual haunts. I feel like 'family' while I'm there, and enjoy the staff and the more intimate style of the hotel. As long as they continue to meet my needs, I have no plans to ever stay anywhere else when I'm...

Very nice hotel in a great location. Close to Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, subway, and lots of great restaurants. Friendly front desk staff and concierge. The lounge staff was slow and unfriendly, but the food was great. Room was very comfortable. We didn't have a view of anything from our room, but we spent very little time in the room.

I just want to say what an amazing Hotel, The Michaelangelo Hotel was such a pleasure to stay in, from the moment we arrived the staff we very comforting, the check-in was effortless and relaxing (Which is important after a long flight). The rooms were fresh, spacious, spotless clean, comfortably warm. I have stayed in many top brand Hotels in...

Great location. Reasonably priced for NYC. No true restaurant, so that's a minus. Absolutely HATE the $38/day "convenience fee" for internet, fitness and biz ctrs, and a $10 drink coupon. Most hotels today have free wifi and free use of biz/fitness. If you need $38 more, build it into the rate. Consumer can't opt out of it, so just build...

Beautiful, large rooms, location, etc...... All true!! We usually stay at the Hilton but wanted a hotel with larger rooms and quite frankly, a change. WOW!! The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. However, the best part were the people (employees) that we encountered during our stay. From Walther, Walter and Joseph at the front desk, Chris at the door,...

Nice hotel right near Times Square. Staff was very friendly, from the door man to the front desk and even bar staff. Nice little bar right off the lobby with food available to order. Room was very quiet and large. Nice big bathroom with a HUGE bath tub. Bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable, but I wasn't a fan of...

I was on business trip, so I didn't have to pay, otherwise, this hotel is not in my price range. They have a fee of some sort in addition, but probably because of this, they had something I had never seen in any other hotels in the USA. One was a free shoe shine service. If you leave it by...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
