We very much enjoyed our three night stay at The Michelangelo Hotel in NYC over the MLK weekend. The staff was amazing, the room was spotless and well cared for, the beds and sheets were absolutely amazing - we even looked to see the brand name! We would definitely stay here again - can't wait!

I made a reservation at the Michaelangelo Hotel for January 8. I made this reservation on 11/7. The flexible cancellation policy advertised a 24 hour cancellation no charge. On 11/18, I had to cancel my reservation. I received a Cancellation Notice via email immediately. I thought all was well until I saw a pending charge on my card for the reservation early January. I emailed and called, emailed and called. No responses to emails, and calls are hanged up on. After many call attempts and emails with no response, I finally saw the charge removed. Finally!! But now today, January 15, I see another pending charge for $60.05? For what???!!! I don't know what is wrong with this hotel, but if you need to cancel, you're going to have a difficult time, and why would you want to stay in a hotel anyway, with no customer service, getting hung up if you need to call, or no responses to email. I would not recommend a stay at this hotel. Something is very wrong here. I realize in this day of covid, staffing is short but if they have the time to charge my card, they should have the time to cancel mistaken charges.

We stayed here for a week over New year and loved everything about the hotel. The location is great, close to a few subway stations, within walking distance to lots of places, close to shops, bars, restaurants. I'd definately recommend it. The guys on the door and reception friendly abs helpful. The room was huge with really comfy bed, seating area, dressing room and bathroom with a big bath.

The placement relative to Broadway could not be better. You are close without being overwhelmed by the lights and noise of Times Square. We were right across the street from Winter Garden for Music Man. The rooms are larger by NYC standards. They could be a tad cleaner. The carpet needed attention. The staff is minimal...as well as the amenities. But it is understandable with all the restaurants in the immediate area. The pricing was reasonable. We will definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel during Christmas 2021. My room was a very spacious king studio with a very nice bathroom, a huge bed and plenty of cupboard space. Even though it was right next to 7th avenue it was actually quite quiet. The hotel itself was very clean and nice and the staff very helpful. They could maybe do a light renovation and paint some walls and ceilings but this is minor stuff. All in all I had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
