Loved this charming boutique hotel in mid-town Manhattan. Highly recommend the junior suite with ample sitting room, bedroom and quiet location in hotel. No sirens woke me up and I enjoyed the cozy common library. Very accommodating staff.
Stayed two nights in this hotel. When checking in 1st room was teeny weeny, even by NYC standards. Bellman suggested moving and he went downstairs and got keys for room #2. This was larger but as soon as he left we realized bathroom floor was...More
How this place is in business is a mystery. I paid almost $400 on Priceline for a night in this dump. The room was the size of a postage stamp. The backboard of the bed was stained where people had leaned against it for years,...More
stayed at the mansfield just one night this past weekend. the accomodation was fine, bed firm, room clean, albeit a bit dark, the lighting is either inadequate or somewhat harsh.
i would stay again if i needed a midtown hotel.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, being only 2 blocks from Times Square gave us great access the heart of New York. The room itself though was a bit of a letdown. We had a junior suite as there were 3 of us travelling...More
An architectural and historical landmark, The Mansfield is a portal to a New York City of days gone. Guests of the hotel appreciate its club-like surroundings and superb craftsmanship, as illustrated by the lobby’s detailed illuminated 16-foot ceiling and oval staircases with original terrazzo floors. The Mansfield is located just off of Fifth Avenue at 44th Street, residing within the historic preservation district of Midtown Manhattan, and deep in the heart of the Theater District. The hotel is within a short walk of the finest Fifth Avenue stores, Bryant Park, Times Square, Broadway, Grand Central Station, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden and the Radio City Music Hall.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
