Come late afternoon, we were ensconced in a room that exuded contemporary with touches of Asian aesthetics, complemented by a delightful fruit ensemble and local Saratoga bottled waters... The room's temperate atmosphere was notably warmer than preferred due to the A/C unit being down, a shortfall that seemed somewhat incongruous given the substantial nightly rate of $700/nt... While elements of our stay were undeniably commendable, at a rate of $700 per night, our expectations were regrettably not fully realized...

Found the hotel when looking for spots near midtown convenient to Broadway theaters... We booked a park view and we’re upgraded to premium park view suite on 19th floor... Excellent views up the park, and huge room - lots of space... The decor was unique and the rooms were quiet... We were told we could order room service 24-hrs, so we returned to our room only to find the online ordering unavailable and no one answering the room service line...

We waited for our room for 40 minutes (4203): for 4 people only 1 glass in the bathroom, 1 shower gelg, no slippers, disgusting windows, worn furniture, not sure the carpets were clean either, no coffee maker, no kettle and when it was brought up it was with ONE cup (and no teabags)... Room service available with an app telling that any order would arrive 30 min later...

...Non-functional AC could only cool the room to 76F at full blast...

When we checked in the front desk person said we had 2 complimentary drinks and to charge them to the room... I have left two messages and emailed the hotel but no response...

Just an FYI- no coffeemaker in the rooms so bring an electric kettle/coffee maker if you want tea/coffee...

I was still greeted pleasantly when I arrived and, when I asked about an upgrade, was told the hotel was almost full and they had only a junior suite with a park view available, which they could give for a small extra charge, much less than the regular rate... My only problem was the room temperature being too cold... I really did not need the heat on but just could not get the temperature in the room above 68° no matter how much I increased the temperature, even up yo 83°... What I finally learned the day before I left was that the rooms cannot be change from air conditioning to heat... Since I was last there they did a total renovation during COVID (2020-21) so it now has a more modern and upbeat atmosphere vs. the previous more traditional and conservative style... Even with the issue of the room temperature, which never has happened before, I will stay at the hotel again when I am in New York in the future...

Very well run hotel with stunning views of Central Park, immediately across the street... Also, if you can afford it, recommend at least one breakfast on 47th floor (especially on a sunny morning) Ms. Suarez, Guest Service Manager was extremely helpful when I was having trouble understanding the website and trying to make arrangements to have breakfast at the 47th floor restaurant... Staff is extremely friendly, which is nice to see in a luxury hotel... Sometimes when we've stayed in 5 star hotels, the staff seems like you should be honored to stay at the hotel... It's the opposite hear - everyone we talked with including very nice people in the 47th floor and on the first floor "grab and go" breakfast area was extremely friendly... 10-12 minute, safe walk to theater area... 5 star no only in the quality of rooms, but also the quality of people...

Worst customer service I have seen in a while... The concierge person was like do you belong here?... We ordered room service later that night and their was a hair in our food and when I called down to get help they said sorry we will take item off your bill, note they did not take off until I saw the bill and had to remind them... The heat would not turn on and it was freezing in the hotel muti people were complaining in the lobby when we got there and of course we complained also but nothing was done...

The room felt dated, there were some issues with my room, and some lacking amenities that most other hotels these days provide...

The hotel has perfect location,across the street from Central Park. Everything is close by without hassle of Time Square... Few french bakeries for quick breakfast or lunch,CVS and other helpful places.The hotel has breakfast at rooftop,pricey, but the view from 47th floor on Central Park is beautiful and food :smoked salmon,cheeses,omelet, yogurts, croissants, juices,procecco, bottled water , coffee,tea,a lot of fruits... All art museums in walking distance.The hotel has nice bar,inside and outside sitting, restaurant as well.Service is very good,all staff are very friendly,the elevators works very well.I will stay here again...

Fabulous friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff...

...The positive first: the room was clean... And when you flushed the toilet, it sprayed water on top of the seat... The towels were stored OUTSIDE the bathroom... $700 and you can't supply a bottle of water gratis??)...

...Two steps from Central Park, from great restaurants and stores… no need for taxi… you just walk and everything is around the corner. Fair price, stunning location and a very caring and gentle staff...

The Park Lane just gets better every time we visit. A new roof top bar/restaurant with an epic breakfast... Rooms upgraded and still the best, comfiest beds and linen ever... All the staff are so welcoming and attentive and of course as always a special mention to Edita at front office, cannot ever do enough for her guests, so warm and kind and professional…...

We loved this hotel and everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Our room had the best view of the park and was really clean... If you want to explore the city this is a great location and very convenient to Broadway, Times Square, shopping, great restaurants, etc... If you need tips or reservations the concierge and doormen are great...

Great location, clean and friendly team. Loved entrances on both sides of the block, express coffee bar in the morning... Only Miss was not having coffee machine like Nespresso in room... Room was super quiet and unique welcome on tv with birds chirping like you are in Central Park...

...Not only is the service terrible, but the rooms are very basic, dirty, and lack even the most basic amenities. The rooms have no kettle, no coffee machine (only offered at an extra cost of 35$ DAILY and they make bad coffee), no slippers, and do not offer space suitable for anyone who is traveling on business and needs to work... We had to leave handwritten notes reminding the staff to dust, leave clean mugs, leave new soap, etc... To top this off, the manager, staff at the front desk, and room service staff were all very unhelpful...

...Park Lane will now be my go-to hotel in NYC... Our room had open views of Central Park (stunning), gorgeous interior design, comfy bed and linens…all new and spotless from what I understand to be the hotel’s recent major renovations... Warm and 5-star service and a variety of food options in the building... I’m already looking for excuses to come back with other friends and family so they (and I) can luxuriate at Park Lane...

I took my 6-year-old daughter to New York for the weekend and felt like I hit the jackpot finding the Park Lane Hotel. The location was perfect as it was directly across the street from Central Park, where we went ice skating, went to the Zoo, and enjoyed the incredible lakes and grass areas throughout the park... We also easily could walk to Lincoln Circle and Times Square... The view from the room has to be the best in New York City, and all I can say is WOW!... For all the great things offered by the hotel, the highlight of our trip was Mauiso from their front desk as she was the kindness, most helpful person and I can't thank her enough for being so thoughtful to my daughter and making us feel welcomed... I highly recommend the hotel, location and staff, and I can't wait to take my younger daughter on the same trip in a few years!...

Due to a fire in our apartment, we have been hopping around hotels in NYC and Park Lane is our favorite so far. The rooms (panoramic view king suite and queen double), are spacious for NYC standards, clean, and comfortable... The views of Central Park from the panoramic rooms (above 25 floors) are fantastic... A special call-out for Mounia on the front desk as she went above and beyond to find us adjoining rooms when we decided to get another one for working purposes after the first night... Will definitely recommend Park Lane to friends visiting us in the future... Just an FYI- no coffeemaker in the rooms so bring an electric kettle/coffee maker if you want tea/coffee...

Great time at this perfectly located hotel... The staff here are all so accommodating and welcoming, ask and you shall receive... Americo checked us in and was so kind, he upgraded us to a Central Park view room which was spectacular... I wanted to be close to museums like the MET and Central Park, but we easily walked from the Park Lane to the High Line, Times Square and back... Bathrooms were small and well appointed, the Park View King room very spacious, and those views of the Park and city skyline never cease to amaze... I highly recommend the Park Lane for a pleasure trip to NYC and will stay again in the future... The staff delivers excellent service in a prime location...

...The concierge person was like do you belong here?... The heat would not turn on and it was freezing in the hotel muti people were complaining in the lobby when we got there and of course we complained also but nothing was done...
