We booked 2 queen rooms at the Belvedere for Nov 10 - 16. On arrival we confirmed we would like non-smoking rooms on an upper floor and the pleasant and efficient front desk staff gave us a free upgrade to king-bedded rooms on the 16th floor....perfect!. We were impressed with the size and facilities of the rooms, the kitchenette and... More

Having booked The Belvedere, on the views of other guests, this certainly lived up to expectations. The room was more than adequate for myself and my sister-in-law, and the kitchenette with fridge was a great asset, especially for storing bottled water and milk. The filter coffee machine is great and the complimentry coffee too. There was some noise, but only... More

Just returned home from a great trip to NYC - I was there for the 5-night Comedy Festival. The Belvedere is a great hotel in an even better location . . . a close walk to everything (Times Square, Broadway, and the cheap theatre ticket booth). The front staff was very helpful in moving me from a smoking floor (8)... More

Just returned during NY Marathon...stayed at Belvedere...Room was great with fridge, microwave etc....however, the bed was hard as a ROCK....So if you are used to a good bed please beware....Location was Ok...However, I would prefer staying on the east side near Lex, and the 50's... DW, Toronto.

The location was great. The room was nice, a bit small. The front desk service was not very friendly and they were not very helpful. The bellman were only looking for their tips and did not offer that fast or good service. It seems they were always disappearing. The elevators were slow, slow, and almost always full, so you stopped... More

I recently spent 3 nights at the Belvedere October 29 - November 1. When I first checked in, the room I was given was DIRTY, littered with soda bottles, water bottles, and cigarette ashes. One of the hotel employees came up to change my rooms and acted like I was crazy for asking for a different room. The entire floor... More

My husband and I just recently visited NYC. We chose The Belvedere strictly on the reviews on this website. The hotel was wonderful! The staff was friendly, and the room was fantastic. The room was very large and we had two Queen beds. But, the best part of the hotel was the location. It is just a few blocks away... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
