Very good alternative to be just in town! Rooms are quite confortable with a little kitchen and frigo, everything works well, bathroom amenities are quite good too. Complimentary tea and coffee is replaced daily! Great to have breakfast at the hotel. Location is just perfect!!! Service is very kind snd friendly, really willing to help.

The staff was great, from the front desk to the bell hop. They were very pleasant and helpful. We arrived well before or check in time. They stored our bags and offered to call us when our room was ready. The room was very clean. The hotel is well within walking distance of many theaters and restaurants.

If you like smaller, non-chain boutique hotels, you'll really like the Belvedere. Appreciate the clean room, amazing view, perfect location, and lovely staff. Room had microwave, Keurig, refrigerator, excellent shower. Small room was perfectly fine with us. Needed to get transportation to NJ - relied on the doorman, wound up paying double what an Uber ride would have cost, but...

Stayed at this lovely hotel from 12th - 19th March. The staff could not have been friendlier our more helpful. The location is ideal - walking distance to Times Square & Central Park. Not brand new but rooms are clean & everything works. Very affordable & would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here because of location, which is tremendous: close to theaters, Times Square. Room was nicely furnished but bed was too soft and uncomfortable. Noisy at night. Front desk staff was great; concierge was not friendly and not helpful. Overall, a decent stay, but I won't jump to recommend it.

I stayed 5 nights in this hotel and I really love everything about this hotel. They have bellboys who are quick on their feet to help me with heavy baggages, doorman to welcome us back at hotel lobby, the staffs are amazing friendly and polite and helpful desk to recommend day trips etc. I love the spacious room, the kettle...

I stayed 5 nights between end of February-beginning of March. I booked an Executive king room and we got one on the last floor, the 17th, with amazing views all the way to the Freedom tower and at night some glimpse of Times Square too. The view was unbelievable, especially if you love the city as I do. The room...

We had a great room that was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We found all of the staff to be friendly, greeting us every time we passed them. Location was very convenient to theatre and shopping and close to the 50 St Subway station. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was excellent and had numerous hot and cold choices. We...

Actually, EVERY room I ever stayed at in NYC had small rooms, although I never stayed at the uber hotels! The Belvedere is not a hotel; it's a time machine! If you ever stayed in NYC in the 60's (that's as far back as I can remember), or even in the 70's you will remember the kind of service that...

This place is an absolute steal. Great location and a great price. So close to Times square but far enough to get a great price and not have to deal with the noise. Clean, super friendly service. Would definitely come back again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
