Good place, it has a friendly vibe in the heart of theater district, 8th ave, we stumbled on good local places like kung fu kitchen on 8th right around the corner - great dim sum type dishes and noodles - and Moms Burgers on 9th, West End Grill on 8th... Thankyou to everyone who made our stay so pleasing!...

...A short walk in one direction and you hit Times Square, a short walk in the opposite direction and you’ll be in the middle of Hells Kitchen with endless food options (that are much cheaper than the Times Square locations!)... And the free tea/coffee’s in reception 7-10 were a lil bonus too!... Just a short walk from the hotel and has lots of food/drink/snack options, including hot drinks and deli sandwiches... A super handy stop-off on the way back to the hotel after a long day of walking!...

...If I had paid the price of a Holiday Inn Express then maybe I would have been happier as that is the quality. From a positive perspective it is very close to Times Square if that’s your thing and the staff were very friendly but in retrospect there are other hotels in the area that would offer better value and for the price I paid I would have at least expected bottled water and tea/coffee making facilities in the room!!... This fee is for use of the gym, tea & coffee in reception and WIFI!!... Basically, whether you use them or not its compulsory and a charge for items which was previously included in the rack price...

...However, rooms while not modern are really big for NYC. We had a room with 2 doubles on 14th floor - amazing views!... Comfortable and quiet in a wonderful location with restaurants and bars in side streets of hell's kitchen... Lifts were absolutely no problem at all once during our 5 days... Beds made daily and room cleaned daily... My only real issue was no tea or coffee making in room which should be standard in any accommodation these days...

...This was our second stay at this hotel (first was 15 years ago) and although we were impressed the first time it has improved. The location is good - easily accessible from airport and a few tran stops to the centre , the room we had wad comfortable, quiet and spotless... The breakfast is superb with enough choice for anyone...

...We were fortunate to have a nice city view... There are two main lifts but only one was working... There is a third lift at the end of each floor... At the moment, there is an air drying machine blasting the hallway outside our door... It is close to Times Square and subway stations, plus walking distance to many shops and attractions...
