The hardware of the hotel is quite good. On my second night, there was loud music even past midnight. Food options on the room service menu card are misleading: whole-day options are not available till 11am.

My husband and I stayed here for a week late Jan/early Feb. The rooms as great, located close to shops, restaurants and also the subway. The staff are super friendly and helpful and we got a lot of great advice from the doormen who were really great at helping us get transport to places. We loved it and it was... More

Great location- heart of Soho with lots of restaurants and boutique shopping- ok room, but you can tell that the building is aging..poor service...our waitress was upset that we came a few minutes prior to breakfast coming to close and the front desk would not help us with our bags.

The hotel was fine, but not conducive for a business trip. The room was small and only had one tiny round table - with an uncomfortable hard leather chair - not a proper desk, the Internet was terrible, it kept failing and was slow. The room had dirty carpet and not enough plugs for charging phones, and computer. The food... More

I stayed here two weekends ago with my then girlfriend, now fiance, and I cannot stress how much we loved this hotel. Normally I don't place a whole lot of importance on the hotel itself when I'm travelling because we are always out and about. However, with record low temperatures the weekend stayed, you spend a lot more time sticking... More

Lovely area to stay in NYC. Nice hotel with a busy evening crowd in bar. Great view from room on 11th floor. Good size room for NYC. V comfy beds and friendly staff on doors and reception. Surrounding area great for shopping!

Love the Soho Grand. This was my second stay in two years. Everything was perfect. Easy and courteous check-in, delicious food, clean, cool room, excellent concierge and great location. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great, fun place to stay in New York City.

I like staying at the Soho Grand, good location and friendly service, but this particular stay was not their best effort. Perhaps the building is in need of repair. The heat in my room was at 77 degrees even though the heat was not on, and in order to get the temp down (and slowly) I had to sleep with... More

The hotel is beautiful and Jesse at the front desk was so friendly and helpful...but overall the service was so disappointing... I didn't feel like I was at a luxury hotel. Our first night, we got drinks at the Whiskey Bar. There was a fly in my cocktail (this after we had found something -- maybe a piece of dried... More

Love this place. Classic but modern enough. A terrific grand hotel with super cozy rooms, an awesome bar/restaurant, and terrific staff. I stay here often when I visit NYC. You really can't beat the location, either.

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
